Freddie's Dead Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 One of the few criticisms I had was the 1st down playcalling. Kept running that power run to the right or left that went for 1-yard gains. When they ran play action on first down, they hit Nicklaus' grandson for like 30 yards.
JM2009 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I hope McCoy stays healthy and can maybe get a rushing title this year.
Rad Likes The Bills Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 By the way, didn't realize how huge Jordan Matthews is. He's going to be really productive for us. Haven't seen a Catch and run like he had by a bills player in like 15 years. Nahman 2011 against the giants. Stevie Johnson had a 40+ td catch and run against the chiefs in 2012. Sammy in '14 against the jets (the second long catch and run he had but he actually scored) and that's just off the top of my head
26CornerBlitz Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 @ESPNStatsInfo With 21-12 win vs Jets, Sean McDermott becomes first Bills coach in the SB era to win team debut (debuting coaches had been 0-10 in SB era).

Perry Turtle Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 @ESPNStatsInfo With 21-12 win vs Jets, Sean McDermott becomes first Bills coach in the SB era to win team debut (debuting coaches had been 0-10 in SB era). As stated above, Rex won his debut against the Colts. Levy also won his debut against the Steelers. It was a mid-season win, but he still won it.
Jasovon Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Yeah. WTF ESPN? I believe this is the first home opener win for a bills head coach. The Indy game was in Indy. I think that's What they meant

The Frankish Reich Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I believe this is the first home opener win for a bills head coach. The Indy game was in Indy. I think that's What they meant Well it isn't what they said ...
Big C Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Maybe they mean first Bills coach to win their NFL head coaching debut?
Perry Turtle Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 The Indy game was here. First win wearing blue jerseys at home opener for a new head coach? Levy's debut win was also at home. ESPN has fired so many people that they've become fake news.
Rad Likes The Bills Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 The Bills today made a very bad Jets team look competitive. 5 win team at best IMO. If McCoy wasn't on the roster they'd be in-line for the #1 overall pick. In what way did the jets look competitive? Not once during this game did I even break a sweat. Yes there are some kinks to work out but I think I saw an 8 win team out there at minimum. Look around the league, QB play was atrocious today (Dalton, Palmer, Cousins, Savage, etc.) Tyrod showed far more advanced mechanics than I have ever seen from him, consistently evading the pass rush but keeping his eyes downfield, attacking the middle, getting everyone involved.
Doc Brown Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Maybe they mean first Bills coach to win their NFL head coaching debut? That could be it. Pry is.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Maybe they mean first Bills coach to win their NFL head coaching debut? In that sense they are correct.
