26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 @RapSheet The #Jaguars make it official: WR Allen Robinson has torn his ACL. He's out for the season. Awful. In a contract year, too.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 @SalSports Only 4 of 12 home teams have won so far in the NFL this week.
Big Curt Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Receiving REC YDS TD LG C. Kupp 4 76 1 28 S. Watkins 5 58 0 24 T. Gurley 5 56 0 23 R. Woods 3 53 0 27 Looks like Sammy and woods are doing just fine in LA!
GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Pagano is a bum, never should have let Arians go. Whilst I agree..... Arians' team looked like hot garbage yesterday too.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 You took a break from bitching about Tyrod for once? Yes, big fella. I even said I was ok with tyrod on Sunday. You otoh are laser locked on your Sam Watkins man love
GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I watched the Ravens and the Bengals this morning. Wow. If you think our game was ugly..... The Ravens defense looks good but neither offense played particularly well. Bengals won't win more than 5 games.

In terms of individual talent, it's not far off Seattle.

This has to be Marvin Lewis' last year, if Dalton keeps this up they will challenge for that 1st pick on the 1st round.

Anyone else watch the Packers and Hawks? What a mess.

GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 w for us Yea I see no way we don't beat Cincy, Indy and the Jets again. There are a number of other winnables after that I am not saying we will only win 4 but those 3 games should be locks.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 @RapSheet At this point, the expectation is that the #Texans stick with rookie Deshaun Watson vs. the #Bengals. Still evaluating, but tough to go back 1st round pick Deshaun Watson has impressed the #Texans at every checkpoint. They think he’s a future star. The future may be right now.

I said Deshaun would start all 16 games but I'll take 15.5 as a win
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 I said Deshaun would start all 16 games but I'll take 15.5 as a win Round up to 16 and you win.
GunnerBill Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I think you take it as a win too. Interestingly the pre-season game that won Savage the job was against the New England defense... after Thursday people might look on that differently haha.
Blokestradamus Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I'm sure that Tom Savage is a nice dude and all but he's both awful and the love child of Nicolas Cage and Niko Bellic from GTA4. I can't get over that when I look at his NFL.com picture.
CommonCents Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Has anyone talked about TJ Watt's performance yesterday? 2 sacks, int, mixed in with a handful of tackles. Rober detailed his measurables during the draft process and how those translated to success in the NFL. It's obviously a small sample for Watt but he looks every bit as explosive as was discussed.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Some ugly football out there for the start of the season. Anyone else watch the Packers and Hawks? What a mess. Yes, I really want to enjoy the NFL like I used to. I'm just having a difficult time doing so. There seems to be an abundance of mediocrity around the league. Sometimes it's hard to tell if you are seeing great defensive play, or terrible offensive play and vice versa. NFL officiating is a bonafide disaster that needs to be cleaned up. It is inconsistent, and makes the game tough to watch. If the Bills defense played like the Pack and Seahawks Sunday, every pass would have been flagged for PI and/or holding. I've grown to appreciate college football much more over the last several years. College ball is a game where one can still witness greatness. The NFL's greatest desire has been to achieve parody around the league. I think that they have done a great job doing so. Unfortunately, we are seeing the unintended consequence of mediocrity.
