Royale with Cheese Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 99 not even in the stat line. The only time they mentioned his name was to say "We haven't event mentioned Dareus today.". He did a good job in run support. Not many holes up the middle.
Heitz Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 He did a good job in run support. Not many holes up the middle. We definitely hemmed up their run game! Still want to see more from Marcell - make a play, make a tackle even...
Nitro Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) He was quiet all game. His goal line play was pathetic. The guys do what the coaches ask. Edited September 10, 2017 by Nitro
JerseyBills Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 He does get doubled teamed on most plays and the jets only had 38 yds rushing so while he didnt make the highlight reel he probably did his job. No one could get any pressure, mccown was passing to quickYup. They feared the pass rush , and like you said, 38 yards passing, with that said, I personally expect more from Dareus because he is just super talented

Dorkington Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 He seemed to be in there on first and second downs mostly, which we stuffed their run game up. Sure, maybe he's not earning his paycheck, but he's still easily our starting DT. You don't pay a guy $100M to soak up blockers like a 0-tech NT. You should send a letter to McD to let him know what he's allowed to use his players for.
Peace Frog Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) From what I saw today, Dareus was being single blocked on a lot of plays and was still minimally effective. Maybe his hip is still sore.......... from carrying all of that money in his wallet. Edited September 10, 2017 by Peace Frog

par73 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Only time I noticed him was when he was pancaked in the endzone on the Jets TD.
Wayne Arnold Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 This guy has mailed it in. Most overpaid player in the NFL.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 Only time I noticed him was when he was pancaked in the endzone on the Jets TD. You mean when he was double teamed? It happens.
Beast Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 You mean when he was double teamed? It happens. Dareus jersey, huh?
bmur66 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Pancaked in the end zone and sucking oxygen on the sideline. That was all I noticed today.
Paup 1995MVP Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Kyle Williams had a tremendous game. No comparison between him and Dareus today. 12th year and he was running all over the field like he was 25 years old. If he can stay healthy he can play another 2-3 years. Definitely the leader of the defense. As for Dareus he is out of shape and just a guy. (saw him sucking oxygen on the sidelines) Could easily see this being his last year w the Bills, if the light does not go on. He plays w absolutely no passion.

Not worth the problems or the $$....this is his last season unless he starts to consistently perform like he's paid.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 Dareus jersey, huh? No. Factual information over hyperbolic hate.
likei've Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 What a stupid-ass contract. One that everyone (myself included) would have flipped out had we not agreed to. In hindsight it's terrible. At the time it made sense.
