billsfan1959 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 http://amp.timeinc.net/si/nfl/2017/09/08/matt-patricia-new-england-patriots-defense-opening-loss-donta-hightower?source=dam I thought the defensive performance was concerning for NE. I certainly am not willing to say this is going to be a trend after one game; however, last night was not good.

This entire board sounds like a jealous ex girlfriend.
Albwan Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 13-3, relatively easy. Last night was a fluke.

Pbomb Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Id say mccourty and butler were the only 2 who looked good. Their front 7 is in a lot of trouble if hightower is out for a long period of time.
K D Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Don't get too excited. Pats lost week 1 in 2001, 2003 (to us), 2014. And then they went on to win the super bowl each time.
CountDorkula Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 is she hot? Whatever I'm so Over Gilmore, but did you see what Gilmore did and said the other day. Did you see his play last night. Whatever I'm so over him.
Pbomb Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 13-3, relatively easy. Last night was a fluke.possible and probably likely, but there is no denying their depth at wr is now a concern if amendola keeps getting hurt. they lost long sheard and ninko this offseason which is their entire pass rush besides flowers. Hightower is a huge blow to their def if hes out a significant amount of time. And lets face it gilmore, while decent, is overpaid and overrated
KellyToughII Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Don't get too excited. Pats lost week 1 in 2001, 2003 (to us), 2014. And then they went on to win the super bowl each time.none of those years did they look bad. Last night they looked really bad. There is a difference. Whatever I'm so Over Gilmore, but did you see what Gilmore did and said the other day. Did you see his play last night. Whatever I'm so over him. Well when you have posters constantly griping about how great he was (and he never was), how he will be this perennial pro bowler in New England and it keeps getting shoved down our throats, you love it when he's exposed again for who he really is an average corner.
GG Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 KC called a bunch of read option plays with a very slow Smith, and there were alleys to be had. Tyrod & Shady should destroy that slow footed NE defense
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) This entire board sounds like a jealous ex girlfriend. if you aren't happy about a patsie beat down in their house on opening day, I don't know what to tell you. that includes gilmore getting torched. 65 million, LOL Edited September 8, 2017 by DaBillsFanSince1973

Cusefan66214 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Pats will still hang 40 on us. At home
cage Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I looked at their D in the 2nd half, particularly after Hightower got hurt. Obviously I know Gilmore and McCourty,... but otherwise my reaction was.... who are these guys??? I didn't recognize a name in their front 7.
dpberr Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 They looked slow. They won't win track meets like last night.
Webster Guy Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Pats will still hang 40 on us. At home yeah right. bet me
PABillsfan23 Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 They looked slow. They won't win track meets like last night. We match up terribly with them. KC beat them with speed. We don't have much outside speed

Yes, their "fans" will take solace in that, but by the end of this season I hope they'll look like this: Edited September 8, 2017 by Nanker
