BADOLBILZ Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 So do you have any announcers you like or don't? I'm fine with most of them but Gus Johnson is my favorite.
Peace Frog Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) Joe Theismann and Steve Tasker This, in spades! My favorite play by play announcer is Al Micheals and favorite color analyst, believe it or not, is Troy Aikman. Edited September 8, 2017 by Peace Frog
Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Aikman. He has no insights and merely parrots what you just saw. Theismann's a close second.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Did u think he meant Sal capaccio?? Yes, I saw Sal and went into defence mode
iinii Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 Tony Dungey is horrible. Overrated as a coach and painful to watch as an media personality. The man has a Ring and is overrated? Interesting....
Sandy McFiddish Posted September 8, 2017 Posted September 8, 2017 I watch Joe Buck called games when I want to take a nap.
IDBillzFan Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I watch Joe Buck called games when I want to take a nap. Actually, when I want to nap, I turn on the Sirius XM NFL channel when Gil Brandt is on the air.
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Aikman and Buck.... Streisand and Diamond would make for a more interesting duet announcing NFL games.
Bill_with_it Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Joe Buck. Hands down along with Aikman
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 miss the old enberg/olsen, summerall/madden combos
BuffaloSol Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 Micheal Smith and Jamel Hill are putrid I can't watch sports center because of people like these two. It's quite pathetic what ESPN has turned into. The type of people they are attracting are these reactionary, low educated, faux intellectuals. While the people they are turning away are the people that enjoy sports for what they are an entertainment escape. Ratings have shown how terrible this is for ESPN in recent years but Disney keeps them afloat, apparently to push a social agenda. It kind of reminds me off the media keeping the WNBA afloat, lets hope someone with a brain steps in at ESPN before it turns into something like that, or ya know one of the other major networks could do something!
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Wow! Watching Steve Smith on NFL Gameday and he is a new level of horrible. He's looks and sounds like the angry drunk at the bar that is trying to convince everyone how smart and tough he is while everyone is embarrassed for him.
bmur66 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I can't go 5 minutes without saying " shut up Thiesman".
