According to the site, they used used the following white trash metrics: Cities where there are lots of white people Cities where residents are poorer than average Cities where a high number of residents are high school dropouts High drug use Higher than average Payday Loan Outlets and Dollar Stores Violent cities (measured in aggravated assaults) Cities with a high number of residents on welfare Here's your link. Still a heap of white trash floating around, but not nearly as bad as they depict in this piece, IMHO. Anyone been to Troy recently, BTW? Gentrification in full swing there. Been there many times myself, but if a Bass Pro shop is the economic powerhouse of an area, I'd say that the area is quite white trashey. My correlation was between white trash and a poor economy, not between Bass Pro shoppers and white trash.
