UConn James Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 To quote K-K-K-Ken in "a Fish Called Wanda": "Good!"
LabattBlue Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I swear that Snyder is just like a guy at a fantasy football draft except he is playing with live bullets.
Rayzer32 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Who does that leave NE with at WR now, Givens and Branch? Brown may still be back, but they need some help at that position.
Frez Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Every fan would like Synder to be their teams owner. Right?

BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Every fan would like Synder to be their teams owner. Right? 261677 *shudder* You know, I bet there ARE actually people who'd rather see huge free agent moves in the offseason, then a sub .500 season and high ticket prices.
BuffBills#1 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Wonder what kind of money he got, if it isn't alot that'de be good for us. David Terrell would probably be cheaper and I'de like to see him in a bills uniform if the price is right.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Who does that leave NE with at WR now, Givens and Branch? Brown may still be back, but they need some help at that position. I doubt Brown returns to them and if last year is any indication, his abilities are in major decline. The Pats made a major push to sign Derrick Mason, even offering him a higher contract that the Ravens did, but Mason's wife wanted to be in Baltimore. And it will be interesting to see what happens with Givens' situation, i.e. will he holdout for more money than the $1.43M tender.
Navy Chief Navy Pride Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Does the Salary cap not apply to the fuggin Foreskins? They sign everyone! Where does the cash come from?

If Givens holds out, BB will say try again next year.

kasper13 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Washington was supposedly $7 million under after extending/restructuring Samuels then went on another spending spree signing Ravens Center Casey Rabach to a 5 year, $13.75 million contract including a $2.5 million bonus, resigning a few of their own free agents and now signing Patten. They did lose a couple of players to free agency but how they do this year after year is simply amazing. Coles is owed a $5 million bonus on April 2nd. They have to be $50 million over next year and even more the year after that. Guys who sign with them are morons because they will never see most of the money they signed for as all of their contracts are heavily backloaded. All it does is drive up the price of other free agents and the Redskins will still suck year after year. If there is an owner to hate, it is Daniel Snyder.
cåblelady Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Does the Salary cap not apply to the fuggin Foreskins? They sign everyone! Where does the cash come from? 261709 Good question.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 It doesn't seem like anyone thinks they're a prime destination anymore... All this based on two days of free agency. Wow.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 All this based on two days of free agency. Wow. Derrick Mason seemed to think so.
Joe Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Derrick Mason seemed to think so. 261801 So you got that no one thinks their a prime destination from one guy?
kasper13 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I looked it up. Redskins already have $109,144,000 committed to 46 players in 2006. This DOES NOT include their recent free agent signings. Obviously, it also does not include this years draft picks or next years. They are really screwed. http://redskins.scout.com/3/salary_cap_chart.html
MadBuffaloDisease Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 So you got that no one thinks their a prime destination from one guy? No, not "no one." I DID mention Hartwell.
