26CornerBlitz Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Russell Baxter's 2017 Bills' Season Preview Is this the year that the team with the longest active playoff drought finally returns to the postseason. What can we expect from the Buffalo Bills? When you’re the franchise with the longest current playoff drought in the NFL, reaching the postseason is obviously the best case scenario. But is McDermott’s team capable of such a move up? Contrary to some opinions, the pieces are around to challenge for a postseason invitation. This is an offense that has led the NFL in rushing two consecutive years. And with McDermott and defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier returning to a 4-3 scheme this fall, the Bills have enough talent to scare a lot of teams. If they can manage a 4-2 record within the division and win at home against the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, don’t be surprised if this is one of the surprise teams in the league. Pretty optimistic outlook.
Buffalo Bills Fan Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 The four games in division with Jets and Dolphins look ok and can do it. But with Patriots and bunch of other good QB teams going to be hard to win against them.
thunderingsquid Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Did the author look at the rest of our schedule? That's a tall order. I'd like to see what flavor of Kool Aid he is drinking.
K D Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 he obviously didn't see that we cut Brandon Reilly and Jonathan Williams. obvious tank moves

26CornerBlitz Posted October 5, 2017 Author Posted October 5, 2017 Russell Baxter's preview doesn't look so bad after the 1st quarter of the season.
