gr8billsfan Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Josh Rosen, QB of UCLA, has been a top prospect for a QB pick in he 2018 draft by many analysts. He's had some great games last year. Many Bills fans have urged us to go grab him, ONLY if he enters the draft next year. Tonight I'm watching him face Texas A&M and he looks horrible so far. Under thrown passes, miss timed throws and weak throws. My question is, even after this one game, can we afford to draft a guy who may enter the draft next year if he's a downgrade of Peterman? I know one game doesn't count, but his performance is sub-par so far. Do we go get Darnold? Or another top tier QB? Hate away... Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 2 quarters is a really small portion of his resume. Quote
gr8billsfan Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 He played last year, had good games and terrible games. More of a lottery pick than anything. You want to spend 1-2 first round picks on a guy who can't complete half his throws? Quote
John from Riverside Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 i guess we will just have to wait till next year (No we shouldnt) Quote
buffaloboyinATL Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 We Bills fans are jinxing all of the first round QB's by cheering for them to do well. Quote
H2o Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 It's early. Mayfield was a beast yesterday. I think Rudolph looked good too. Darnold and Allen are still the #1 & #2 QB's. Quote

Captain Murica Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Don't worry we'll end up taking either Falk or Rudolph 😉 Quote
gr8billsfan Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 (edited) He's been a star his whole life. He will be a good pro. So was losman, beside the pro part. Edited September 4, 2017 by gr8billsfan Quote
Rico Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I just turned it on, at least he looks like a prototypical QB, unlike the dork from Wyoming. 31-3, now 31-10, let's see if he can bring them back. Quote
gr8billsfan Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 (edited) I'm glad other people are rooting for some other QBs. I guess I have to watch more of their play. New question, do we go for the "best" QB or go for the second best. Similar to the dilemma between Wentz & Goff. Just chucked a nice 54 yarderYeah with a safety with his back turned. No doubt. Nice completion and throw. But would this translate to the NFL? I just turned it on, at least he looks like a prototypical QB, unlike the dork from Wyoming. 31-3, now 31-10, let's see if he can bring them back. Not with that run for a TD 38-10. Good game. ALF Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 So far I would not trade up for him . The season is young , and college QBs are very hard to judge how they will do in NFL. I'm shocked how good Peterman looks so far for a 5th rd pick. I hate the spread offense in college , no way to judge NFL potential. Quote

Kelly the Dog Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 1 good throw is worth a first round pick? He's already a guaranteed first round pick. You asked if that one pass would translate to NFL. An NFL scout watching that one pass would jerk off to it later in his hotel room because of six different reasons. Quote
