YoloinOhio Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) @profootballtalk Bills cut Gerald Hodges per source. @joebuscaglia Here's one of the other cuts. Hodges was going to be the main backup MLB. Hooked on to the 2nd team D late into camp. Edited September 3, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Mat68 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I thought he would take out Humber before too long.
moshermw Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Another odd one given Ragland gone - even coverage (Tasker) of the Detroit game suggested Hodges was better then RR and had secured a roster spot.
YoloinOhio Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) Curious, did he look that bad?he wasn't great @rapsheet They were aggressive in trying to trade him yesterday. Cut him today Edited September 3, 2017 by YoloinOhio
NoSaint Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Honestly, this was one signing that I had a hard time reconciling with not wanting to maximize this year. So the offseason makes more sense to me with this move now.
Wayne Cubed Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) Weird cut though if you think about keeping Vallejo, who's injured. Edited September 3, 2017 by Wayne Cubed
boyst Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Honestly, this was one signing that I had a hard time reconciling with not wanting to maximize this year. So the offseason makes more sense to me with this move now. I'm with you, but the more I looked at the more potential I saw with this signing. A capable enough backup Cana someone who seemed coachable and willing to work. Not sure I get this. Especially without an upgrade already, but this one is a little more confounding to me than Williams, who I think there's much more to the story than we know
goldenboy81 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 So who's behind Preston now? Whoever Carolina cuts haha jk... Idk and next week will be the 1st game i wont know everyone on the field... Thats scary and intriguing
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Word on the street is he shook hands with Whaley once. I thought this was a good signing at the time.
CNY315 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Milano? I actually really liked him out of college. Just don't see him as a mike.
GunnerBill Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I actually really liked him out of college. Just don't see him as a mike. I think he fits a lot of what a McDermott mike does.... but if you are going to rely on him there in the regular season you would hope you at least have a look at that in pre-season where he has mainly been the will.
CDogg20 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Ummmm? Wasn't he one of the main reasons we got rid of Ragland? I mean yeah I know scheme fit yada yada but I thought I read some articles saying he looked good enough to where we felt comfortable getting rid of Reggie. Every day now I feel like i'm checking this board then scratching my head
