The Wiz Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Does anyone think he is 2nd guessing his retirement? Supposedly he retired as he believed the Bills weren't a contender and that he wanted to go to the Pats after Edelman's injury. 1/4 of the way through the year, the Bills are a game ahead of the Pats and are in need of receiving help. He would have been the perfect person, but i think he burned the bridge on the way out based on his Patriot comments. Thoughts? He quit on the team before they even played a game. Let him sit out while the bills hold his rights.
CommonCents Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He is toast. He wouldn't have made it through camp.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 he looked slow running I wouldn't even call what he did "running." he retired because he knew he'd be cut; he looked horrendous.
boyst Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He's a quiter and a whiner. And a nincom!@#$ingpoop.
Mat68 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) If he didnt want to be here after a week why welcome him back? Because, we look good now? He was not the player he was. He struggled to get open in preseason I say no. I think Philly Brown can do enough and sure handed enough to minimize the loss of Matthews. To me the Wr group for the next month comes down to is Buffalo able to get Zay Jones some confidence. We do that he could be our #1 real quick. The reason for my optimism is the simple fact that a rookie Wr normally struggles with separation. So far that has not been the case. He is a natural catcher so Imo it will only a matter of time. LABILLBACKER Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Boldin did burn his bridges. I'd rather have an enthusiastic young wr anyway. AARP is calling Anquan!
I'm Spartacus Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I heard Josh Reed has been keeping in shape!
RoyBatty is alive Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He is toast. He wouldn't have made it through camp. 2x..it was sad to see he lumbering down the field, I could have covered him
OhDozeBills Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 If Boldin calls the Bills begging to come back, I wouldn't take him. He made his decision and that ship has sailed. Not to mention after he quit our team he says he'd consider playing for the Pats. Would not set a good example if he wanted to come back to open the door again for him. Move on
Coach55 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I never said I wanted him. I just think he is seriously regretting his decision to quit.
CardinalScotts Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I dont think he has anything left in the tank
Scott7975 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He retired because he realized that he just doesn't have it anymore. He is old, slow, and probably lacks heart.
QB Bills Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He solved racism and now he wants back in? No thanks. We already have our sloppy, stumbling route runner on the roster. And Zay Jones seems like a nicer guy.
section122 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He is toast. He wouldn't have made it through camp. I agree. I think after that game he was told he might not make the roster and retired instead of being cut/quit.
starrymessenger Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Bills have enuf possession receivers (if you include Clay). What this offence could use big time is a guy who runs good routes, has good hands and can absolutely take the top off the D.
Doc Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I'll bet anything the Bills told him to retire or face getting cut.
