chris heff Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Now they can use one of those draft picks on a running back, genius!
nucci Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 How is that a cliche? Also....the Bills have a Mike Shanahan-like offensive scheme. You know- the offensive scheme where any running back looks decently competent in. No one should lose sleep over this. Because it is a cliche and how do you know this is a Shanahan type offense? And if they are a dime a dozen, why is McCoy still on the team?
Marty McFly Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 This is bullsht!! All u McBeane ball washers pleae explain to me what cutting the best back up RB on the roster that's on a 5th round pick rookie deal does good for this team? These moves are starting to make no sense now. If they cut Miller and start Dukaka then we kno these are "our guys are better than their guys" playing favorite type moves and thats gonna destroy this team. Better hope they know how to draft bc this rookie GM is losing the fanbase fast.
Peter Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Why? This team will be comprised of rookies and 2nd year players . . . and one 31 year old fullback.
jumbalaya Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 We added a TE so is Logan Thomas, Nick O'Leary ot Charles Clay on the block?
Rico Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 This is right up there with the dismantling of the '97 Florida Marlins. Didn't the Marlins win a World Series?
klos63 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Why? This team will be comprised of rookies and 2nd year players the team will stink and Peterman will take over and then we will really stink this season. I'm glad I got NFL Sunday ticket for free this season.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 @christrapasso I don't think it was necessary move & I had JWilliams as my RB2 in '16 draft. But thought was likely: backup RBs - essentially dime a dozen If rbs are a dime a dozen, why do you cut the cheaper, younger one??? I also like how the media decided they like Beane and defend everything he is doing.

Better hope they know how to draft bc this rookie GM is losing the fanbase fast. Because they're smart and it makes sense to keep 29 and 31 year old backups.
Peter Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Because it is a cliche and how do you know this is a Shanahan type offense? And if they are a dime a dozen, why is McCoy still on the team? Exactly.
FreddieJizzle22 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Because it is a cliche and how do you know this is a Shanahan type offense? And if they are a dime a dozen, why is McCoy still on the team? Because if you have a guy like LeSean McCoy, why would you cut him...they don't make many of those guys. But there are many Jonathan Williams out there. Also, Rick Dennison is our offensive coordinator. Was with Shanahan for a very long time.
Mikie's Bills Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 This has the same feeling of when Chip Kelly cleaned house with the Eagles.
GunnerBill Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I'm trusting the process where cheap rookie deal depth is cut or traded away and in its place I get borderline NFL talent vets who cost us comp picks? Am I right?
Gunsgoodtime Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Egotistical morons. They won't make it 3 years here. This. They have ruined this team
Marty McFly Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Nicely done, fellas Its my fault. I jinxed him smh. Im gonna be the next cut or theyre gonna trade me to the giants message board for a 7th round pick in 2020
Peter Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Because they're smart and it makes sense to keep 29 and 31 year old backups. They must want to develop them for the future when we cash in on those 7th round draft picks.
klos63 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I wonder how the veterans are 'trusting the process'. Bet they can't wait to get moved.
C.Biscuit97 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 This has the same feeling of when Chip Kelly cleaned house with the Eagles. Chip Kelly was a coach of a powerhouse college program and was one of the most innovative offensive coaches in football. We have the coach of the 21st ranked defense. But trust the process!!!
RaoulDuke79 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Why? This team will be comprised of rookies and 2nd year players Well these guys are supposed to know what they are doing. I'm not sitting around and expecting failure.
