Boatdrinks Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Your absolutely right. That didnt limit joe montana and steve young from stretching the field vertically when they needed too. I hope petermen can do the same but we haven't seen it yet. They also had great WRs that got tons of YAC and roger Craig . Montana was surgical but they had talent at WR position
Marty McFly Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 They also had great WRs that got tons of YAC and roger Craig . Montana was surgical but they had talent at WR position This is true Craig was nasty! Those RBs didnt avoid contact as much as they made sure to truck people As do I I hope they put him in the weight room n get that arm strength up. His short to mid accuracy and decision making is promising
Kelly the Dog Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 What's with the pumping the brakes theme on Peterman articles. Can't professional writers come up wth original analogies?Who pumps the brakes anyway? I slam them or ignore them.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 He wouldve won in cleveland that year too. The score was close and Watkins was healthy if i remember right.Cleveland?TT lost to the Browns? Horrible seriously I think you are recalling the Game where they took out EJ with the hit to the knee.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Who pumps the brakes anyway? I slam them or ignore them. Maybe no one told Sully about ABS.
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 that system is gone though. Nate is better in this system I'm not entirely convinced of that just yet. Taylor's athletic ability alone could still enable him to make enough plays to be the better QB. It's not like Peterman has lit it up against 2nd 3rd and 4th string competition.
yungmack Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Sure hope Young Nathan becomes a great pro QB but for now, with his entire NFL career being nothing more than appearances in 4 preseason games, his apparent success only qualifies him for the Jeff Tuel II award.
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Hes right. Mostly everybody needs to pump the brakes on peterman. I dont see it. I was cringing watching steve tasker say to beane that the fans were enamored with him the other night. I seriously hope if they have a shot to draft the guy that they dont pass it up because of peterman. That is the fear. Peterman will look like Trent Edwards and people will think he will improve in his second year only to regress or be the same lame QB.

SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) cleveland!!! Nah i meant the cincinati game after London Hard to say. Dalton had a good game Edited September 3, 2017 by ShadyBillsFan
Marty McFly Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Hard to say. Dalton had a good game I remember that stretch he was good that season, it was 21 - 34. 2 more TDs wuda done it, idk what happened to em last year.
Sweats Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I like what i've seen from Peterman thus far, but he's just not ready to lead this team at this point. If TT goes down during the season, then yeah, throw the kid in for some licks.
