Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 (edited) Would it even be possible for us to attempt going into Sunday with only 3 safety's? Edited September 5, 2017 by Brianmoorman4jesus
26CornerBlitz Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 Would it even be possible for us to attenmpt going into Sunday with only 3 safety's? I could see adding one later in the week with the release of one of the four QBs (most likely Yates).
Magox Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 FWIW: @mikerodak In case you were wondering, Rex Ryan thinks Bills are making a mistake by getting rid of Doug Whaley’s players: https://t.co/LyZHFkZy2S Interesting So, what he is saying is that he couldn't coach Whaley's players into a winning team but that McD should give it a shot because he may be able to?
26CornerBlitz Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 Interesting So, what he is saying is that he couldn't coach Whaley's players into a winning team but that McD should give it a shot because he may be able to? An admission of failure from Rex seems unlikely.
Julio Hopkins Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Roster turnover a necessary part of McDermott's process The ultimate sign a coach has no idea what he's doing.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 Would it even be possible for us to attempt going into Sunday with only 3 safety's? @mikerodak Bills re-signed safety Colt Anderson on Tuesday, a source said. Anderson was released Monday.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 I guess there is no way to know for sure before the games actually start...but on paper our depth is pathetic. I really don't even understand what we are trying to do.

26CornerBlitz Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 @mikerodak Tyrod Taylor has passed the concussion protocol, per @FieldYates. Meanwhile, Bills have waived/injured QB T.J. Yates, per @FieldYates.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 @mikerodak Tyrod Taylor has passed the concussion protocol, per @FieldYates. Meanwhile, Bills have waived/injured QB T.J. Yates, per @FieldYates. Sweet. On both accounts
Dablitzkrieg Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 @mikerodak If this is true, that is good news at least Tyrod Taylor has passed the concussion protocol, per @FieldYates. Meanwhile, Bills have waived/injured QB T.J. Yates, per @FieldYates.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 @JonScottTV #Bills sign DT Cedric Thornton and S Colt Anderson. DT Deandre Coleman's released. T.J. Yates placed on injured reserve. @buffalobills Signed: DT Cedric Thornton and S Colt Anderson Released: DT Deandre Coleman Moved to IR: QB T.J. Yates Details: http://bufbills.co/Bd9XiL
eball Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Sweet. On both accounts LOL. Yes, it's hard to envision a scenario under which any Bills fan (who isn't rooting for a tank) would have been happy to see TJ in a game.
Dablitzkrieg Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 What is Thornton's deal? I am unfamiliar with him, but he had recently signed a $16 mill deal with the cowboys. Dareus getting traded?

stevewin Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Poor Deandre - just yesterday Frazier was singing his praises Q: Coach, Deandre Coleman is a guy that we haven’t really talked to you much about. He makes the roster, what did you see in him that made him worthy of earning a spot? A: Deandre, I’m glad you asked about him. He’s a good case study. You take a look at where he was back in the spring weight-wise and just in his effort as well and then you see how he finished training camp and how he came along in the preseason. [He’s] a really good story, a guy who has really bought into the message that Mike Waufle is delivering in that defensive line room and what we’re trying to get across from a defensive standpoint. The energy he played with, the fact that he attacked the weight issues the way he did, and his attitude. He’s been terrific in that way and we saw tremendous improvement on the field. He’s done some things to earn his opportunity to be a part of the 53 and a lot of it has to do with just his adjusting his attitude and really coming to work every day to improve and he has.

That and more on the @buffalobills new DT:

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 Joe Webb getting the 14. A lot of taped up Sammy and fitz's Sunday in support of a 3rd string QB.
