Better than Michigan Michigan?....that stomped Florida out yesterday after which the Florida HC dejectedly admitted they just kicked their asses because they were bigger and stronger? I was just clarifying. :flirt:

They were most impressive. I was not feeling the all-maize uniforms though, but Florida's never looked better.

Read what i wrote - better than a lot of "name" teams (maybe florida?) even if not truly elite. SC did in fact put up ~50 points, gain over 520 yards, and win by 18. Not sure why you're bringing an elite team like michigan into the discussion. Edited by dave mcbride

It's Banyard.

But yeah......keep pretending there is no difference from one player to the next.

Barnyard will probably lead the NFL in ypc and 3rd and short conversions and score 8 TD's. No problem.:lol:

Who is replacing Hodges on your list now? Do you even KNOW who is next on the depth chart?

Banyard is a step down, but you can't argue that Webb isn't a step up from Yates, especially if he can free up a ST spot.

Hodges replacement is probably Lacy. But frankly, I was surprised that Hodges didn't really stand out going against the 2nds, when he was initially thought of competing to start.

It's hard to beat Western Michigan.

It's hard to win in the NFL.

Just pointing out that it was not an exceptional performance for what is considered the best QB prospect not named Manning or Luck in the last 20 years.

2nd year player, very young (just turned 20), first game of season, decent competition, played well in second half ... i certainly wouldn't read too much into it. Edited by dave mcbride

*whispers* Luke Falk won 31-0 last night and set Washington State's all time TD record...

You are certainly right it was not Darnold's best day but he wasn't horrible aside from the picks. Josh Allen on the other hand 🤢

This doesn't automatically mean anything but I was at a party he was at on July 4 and he looked woefully out of shape. Plenty of time to get in shape of course but he could also be suffering from the dreaded coolguyitis.

Why are we concerned about the Jets' top pick?

I owe Gunner and Bado and apology, these guys are just another group of clowns over at OBD. A different kind of clown but the results won't change much. Know it all clowns.

Can't wait to see Vlad get pancaked over and over again

Surprised that J Will got the axe. But watching the last preseason game Banyard and J Will both looked good. I assume it came down to things like blocking, special teams, and such.

Some of the reaction around here is hysterical in the true meaning of the word hysteria. Some want the HC and GM fired before an actual game has been played, some think they're throwing away the season or that they have some nefarious plot to get rid of all thingssWhaley. All because they traded a backup CB, a third string LB, and let a backup RB go. Oh, and let go and then brought back a rookie FA WR.

The only move thus far I didn't like was the Sammy trade, plus I still don't get Ducasse being around. The others are what happens when you have a HC and GM that are doing their jobs. They make the calls they need to make to put what they feel is the best lineup out there they can. Some calls will be good ones and some not, like every other management team in the league. It's on them now, and they are going to do the best they feel they can. The conspiracy theorists need to relax.

Yeah Allen looked bad.

I know he's got poor talent around him but the decision making is an issue.

Throwing a ball 20 feet out of bounds 50 yards downfield when you have a guy open underneath?

I actually remember thinking last year that he's not a very handsome dude so maybe he won't get caught up in that Leinart-life.......but I bet it's hard to resist indulging when you are a king in that town......and he's kinda' got those could-be 300# genetics if he's not careful.

Yup. It was a party at my friend's house in Newport Beach. There were about 15 USC players there and about 20 absolutely knockout USC coeds. The ohmygod types. He had his shirt off, drinking beers, with a big beer gut and they were all over him. A gf of mine said something about how unattractive that was. Ha. But his teammates seemed to love him. I didn't see anything at all that made me think he was a jerk. None of us could believe how out of shape he looked though.

You've got to give the Peglulas one thing: they know how to blow things up.

This feels A LOT like Tom Donahue / Gregg Williams year 1.

That is the closest comparison in recent Bills' history with a regime having carte blanche from ownership.

If the Bills are holding the #1 pick on declaration day I can see him not declaring.......and understanding why. Rosen too.
