Gray Beard Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I'm hoping that Wenning was cut with the idea that if he doesn't get picked up by somebody else then he can be put on the PS. Then they can cut Yates.
MAJBobby Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I'm hoping that Wenning was cut with the idea that if he doesn't get picked up by somebody else then he can be put on the PS. Then they can cut Yates. They should just cut Yates anyway even if PS isnt for Wenning. Only need 2 QBs
Bangarang Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I'm hoping that Wenning was cut with the idea that if he doesn't get picked up by somebody else then he can be put on the PS. Then they can cut Yates. We don't need a PS QB and Yates should be cut regardless.
buffaloboyinATL Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 We don't need a PS QB and Yates should be cut regardless.Beane told Tasker during Lions game they would either keep 3 or 2 and one on the PS, but never just 2.
BADOLBILZ Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Still, I can't blame any 1st-year, 1st-time HC for keeping a few vets around that he knows first-hand. Actually it looks like he wants an entire roster of modestly accomplished 8 year veterans to me. That didn't work for Jauron......it just lead to an inescapable brand of mediocrity. I know the thought process around here is 2-5 wins this season...... but I would not be surprised in the least by a 7 win season, myself. And in the process they would likely beat some younger teams that would surpass them in 2018.........like when Jauron beat the Jags and Packers at home and then those two teams made their respective conference finals the following season while Dick got his 7 wins again.
GunnerBill Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Actually it looks like he wants an entire roster of modestly accomplished 8 year veterans to me. Yep. Unfortunately so.
Wayne Arnold Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 NFL Draft Diamonds: "Bills released OL Zach Voytek according to sources."
MAJBobby Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 NFL Draft Diamonds: "Bills released OL Zach Voytek according to sources." Who?
outsidethebox Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 NFL Draft Diamonds: "Bills released OL Zach Voytek according to sources." NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BADOLBILZ Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Moritz Bohringer being available. Bohhhh-ring would have been a perfect chant at a Bills game in the next stage of the drought.
MAJBobby Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Titians cut TE Jace Amaro. I liked him alot in draft

JoeF Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I stopped reading and starting reacting at TJ Weird coincidence....no worries. Just tell me when the Bills will win the Super Bowl....
dgrochester55 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Ive seen enough Fast Freddy Smith, Drew Haddad, Martin Nance, Deonte Thompson type preseason star WR's to know that most of these disappointing cuts end up turning out as nothing more than 5th receivers or practice squad players. Reilly I think will be different. He seems to have what it takes to have a solid NFL career somewhere down the road. Hopefully, we can stash him on the practice squad.
Wayne Arnold Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Chris Trapasso: "Titans released WR Tre McBride. On my Bills cutdown day target list. Good size. High-pointing specialist."
