That Green Bank telescope is sure in the news a lot lately, with Tabby's star and all.

 

Those FRB's sure are funky, but I doubt would turn out to be aliens.

 

The next 5-10 years is going to be pretty amazing, once TESS and JWST launch it will be the beginning of another round of discovery, both Big Bang-wise, and exoplanet-wise, among other discoveries.

 

Pretty exciting times we live in, we're all lucky we weren't born in the dark ages instead...
