Ice bowl 67 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 Buffalo is my AFC team. I so hope they win it all soon. Anyone that beats Buffalo is an enemy to the Packers as well.
Gunsgoodtime Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 If you really want to offend people bring up where we were during the MCM in 1999. The one bad Bills memory I didn't watch thank goodness. I was taking a break from football at that time
Kelly the Dog Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 I was on the 40 yard line about 20 rows up on the Bills side and the guy behind me, who was my friend's cousin, had the numbers on a winner take all $10,000 pool if Norwood makes the kick. So we lost the game and he lost 10K by a foot. Ouch.
Ice bowl 67 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 Lombardi dynasty with multiple NFL Championships and victories in SBI and SBII, Holmgren SB Championship with Favre, and McCarthy SB Championship with Rodgers. Not to mention the great history under Lambeau. I cry for you. My boss and I were talking about how many heartbreaking losses we have as Packer fans and we can think of many. I tend to think were super spoiled. A lot of fans from other teams think we are the classiest when they visit Lambeau that is but I hear how spoiled we are from Lion fans, Bear fans and Viking fans. Now I heard it the first time from a Bills fan lol. You know what I totally agree with you we are spoiled. I would cry if we had a season below .500

We have literally nothing to brag about Buffalo is my AFC team. I so hope they win it all soon. Anyone that beats Buffalo is an enemy to the Packers as well. The Packers have a hell of a lot of enemies then
Augie Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Fighting an overwhelming urge to punch a woman in the face. My wife's friend thought it would be fun to root for whoever that other team was. Evil thoughts that night....

I hope we do it again. I hate those guys.
Boatdrinks Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Or what you were doing when Norwood missed the game winning field goal in the Superbowl against the Giants? I hope you guys dont mind bringing up these kind of games. I was going to ask about the comeback against the Oilers but a topic was started on that already so I thought of this one. Anyways do you remember what you were doing or where you were? Drowning my tears in a Heineken at my buddy's basement bar
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Drowning my tears in a Heineken at my buddy's basement bar ...singular as in just one?.....wow............
Best Player Available Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Listening to my Dad preach on how he just wanted them too win one superbowl in his life. He got his seasons in '63. Watched all 4 with him. And he died in 2000. Now I say the same thing too my son & daughter. But have downgraded the dream to one more AFCE championship game in Buffalo. Don't feel that will happen this decade. Black Friday was rough getting owned and selling talent penny's on the dollar. And the Wood extension is a real head scratcher. These dudes better know how too draft. and in particular be a game day coach like a winning effing NFL coach does. Too a lot of fans "trust the process" doesn't mean s#*t with this rookie Mcbeane thing. It feels like as some fans we sit with that we have seen this act before. Since 1995 in fact. But give them 2 years too see what they can do. Their 3 rd year will be hot if the team is not contending.
billzfan Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Better yet, where were you when you heard the news, Jim Kelly has just signed with the Bills!
Ice bowl 67 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 Jim Kelly signed in the Late 80s right?
dollars 2 donuts Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Tampa Stadium, around the goal line, opposite side of the stadium, but the same side of the field of the right in "wide right", high up in the stands. I was high up but still had better seats than Bruce Hornsby! I swear to you for a moment I thought the field goal was good and the refs were about to raise their hands straight up. In the parking lot a banner salesman felt bad for me as a Bills fan and gave me a banner for free...man that was only the beginning.

I beat the living **** out of him only to have his gf kick me in the nuts. I don't know what hurt worse, the kick in the nuts or losing the game.
