26CornerBlitz Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 (edited) @JasonLaCanfora Hearing from multiple teams that the Browns are aggressively trying to trade CB Joe Haden. Very motivated to move his contract Edited August 30, 2017 by 26CornerBlitz
26CornerBlitz Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 They will not be out tanked by the NYJ or any other team.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 He has a cap figure of 11.1 million for the next 2 seasons, and then 10.4 for the 2019 season... if we wanted to pay a CB 11 million, we would have just re-signed the 2-years younger Gilmore.
thebandit27 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 No surprise there...he's definitely gone next year if they don't. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see a team like GB or Dallas interested.

No one suggested that he's coming to the Bills.

Is that the cap hit we take on if we traded for him? Or would they be lower?

Who has NOT been nearly as good as Hayden. See this thinking is why the Bills have stunk for so long, greatly over valuing average to barely good talent and thinking we need to pay them like HOF players.

Looks like Belichick overvalued Gilmore too. You'd better let him know.

How has Gilmore not been nearly as good as Haden? I think you'll be pretty shocked if you compare their career performance
MAJBobby Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 He hasn't been good in a long time. Yep this but people will think he has because they know is name, Darby and Gilmore both were already at his level and or past it
quinnearlysghost88 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Call me when we start making moves that look like they're actively trying to make the team better.
YoloinOhio Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Yep this but people will think he has because they know is name, Darby and Gilmore both were already at his level and or past ithe is also very injury prone and his concussion history is frightening. At one point I thought he would never come back from the protocol.
buffaloboyinATL Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 They will not be out tanked by the NYJ or any other team. lol.
YoloinOhio Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Is that the cap hit we take on if we traded for him? Or would they be lower? @spotracTrading Joe Haden would leave the #Browns dead cap hits of $3.3M in 2017 & $3.2M in 2018. New team acquires cap hits of $11.1M/$11.2M/$10.5M
JM2009 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Call me when we start making moves that look like they're actively trying to make the team better. Not this season.
