gjv001 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 For the past 17 years, the Bills would perform a stunt to tantalize the faithful that the upcoming season could be the one to end the playoff drought. Unfortunately, these offseason splashes always ended in disappointment that left egg on the faces of the Bills brain trust. It seems the new brain trust has derived a stunt, should it fail, that postpones egg on the face for at least 3 years.

I'm pretty sure that if Watkins, Darby, or Rags start making plays week after week the eggs will start flying. Sit tight.

Nanker Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 What stunt has provided hope this year? new coach? No Quarterback, no number one Wide Receiver... Why, it's the headless horseman of the NFL.
teef Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 this is at least the second time someone has described what's happening with the bills as a marketing strategy, and this is the second time i just don't understand the concept.
Bills fan since 87 Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Right? Isn't this the exact opposite of a marketing splash?
Gigs Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 (edited) No Quarterback, no number one Wide Receiver... Why, it's the headless horseman of the NFL. Wouldn't this mean we were good tho? Headless horseman wasn't some chump on a horse Edited August 29, 2017 by Gigs

That's because those two times you've read about marketing strategies, they've been written by people who don't understand what a marketing strategy is.
