Charlottebillsfan2 Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 If KC wins and we beat the jets were in first place. Championship!!!
RoyBatty is alive Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Injuries in the NFL are inevitable and I am going to cosmically assume there are a pre-destined number this year and therefore I am hoping for many many injuries in the game. Please no one lecture me about wishing for injuries, read the line above multiple times before you do. I would never wish harm on any player, the game is not that important.
CDogg20 Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Can I root for mutual destruction?Yes. We actually encourage it.
TigerJ Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 I'm not going to worry about KC's record and its impact on Buffalo's second round one draft pick. I will always root against the Patriots, but at this point in the season, I'm not investing much emotional energy in it.
LABILLBACKER Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Pats win...both Smith and Mahomes go down with season ending injury. Bills go 2-14 and have top 2 picks in the draft. They pick both Darnold and Allen.
reddogblitz Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 If KC wins and we beat the jets were in first place. Championship!!! EXACTLY. No way I'm giving up the division before we play our first game. We got plenty of other people around here to do that.
Iron Maiden Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 (edited) The " fan " side of my brain always says the Bills have a shot at the division when it's week 1.....the logic side however, especially this year, knows the odds are > than 5%.....NE will dominate the division...and the conference.........Rooting for a Chiefs collapse for the pick of course.......and as others mentioned, it also helps in the WC race .... WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I...know that I shouldn't cheer for the Pats. I know I shouldn't cheer for injury. I know two wrongs don't make a right. So all I will say is that the best outcome for the Bills would be the Chiefs losing, but in the process that Brady gets knocked out for the season.
aristocrat Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Rooting for pats all day. I look at the kc schedule and have to think if they pull off a winning record it will be s super owl for them. I see 3-4 wins for them with that schedule. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 It just occurred to me the chiefs can just tank for us, so the bills don't have to!
bisonbrigade Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 PATS. The Bills are not getting anywhere near the playoffs this year, so lets get a better draft pick.
Talley56 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Rooting for KC to win this game then go 0-15 the rest of the way. Not saying it's going to happen, but it is what I'm hoping happens.
Bills Fan of St Augustine Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Just can't bring myself to root for the Pats. Go Chefs!
Kelly the Dog Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I know there are a lot of peaks and valleys over a season, but an opening day victory over the Cheaters could really springboard the Chiefs. On the other hand, a blowout loss could help all the fans and reporters chirping for Mahomes early.
McBean Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Pats no brainer. I love the Buffalo Bills. We need help and the Pats curb stomping the Chiefs helps my favorite team.
stinky finger Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 We're not in competition with the Pats. We are with KC. Hoping KC loses.
thunderingsquid Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I want Alex Smith to stay healthy, NE to win the game but if there are injuries you'd hate to see that but hey, it's part of the game.
dwight in philly Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I will never cheer for the Patriots*. That said I want the Chiefs to implode this season. So if the Chiefs were to beat the Patriots*, then lose their remaining 15 games.....I could live with it. correct thought process IMHO
