The younger guys were baddd. It's been a month. If the younger guys were that bad, I'm sure the Jets would have made a decision much earlier. It is much more beneficial to have a starter named and in place, taking all first team reps at practice than dragging it along, 2 weeks before the season starts. If he fails he pick a QB high. If he doesn't you actually got something out of the highly drafted QB. McCown gets you a few wins maybe.... and nowhere. I think with practices and games they've had a look at him and don't like what they see but he'll probably play this year.
