I don't care if they call us racist or not I don't want his ass on this team. Is kneeling down and essentially pissing on the national anthem is pure bull crap if people don't like my opinion on it I don't really give a damn

I'm with you!

I'm as patriotic as the next guy, both grandparents served and survived with valor and honor in WWII. The flag and the anthem are emotional symbols of an unrealized ideal society where equality, opportunity and equity and realized by all. If we as a country believe the symbol is more important than the practice, we're emotional fools, lacking the ability to question when the ideal is not achieved. It is inarguable that the flag and anthem are conflated with law enforcement, that somehow what law enforcement does is uphold the unrealized ideals the flag symbolized, not guarantees. I don't and never will fly the flag on my house, and neither did my grandfathers who saw the country and imperfect despite serving. I don't blindly support law enforcement or the military. Our country, believe it or not, was founded on the belief that blind loyalty to the ruling class and their support structure (law enforcement, military, policy) only continued to marginalize and exploit everyone else and was not equitable nor democratic. So why do we worship slaves owners for their rebellion against jolly old England and refusal to recognize the flag but for Kaepernick, we're hypocritical and don't understand his message?

I'd take Kaepernick of the tire fire that is TT right now. He's better than every back up in this league and at least 30% or more of the starters. Is he a pro bowler? Nope. But he's better than the ENTIRE QB lineup right now in Bflo, Cleveland, Jax, SF, NYJ, Den, Chi, and LAR. He'd give the starters in Balt, Miami, KC, Cinci, Hou a legit challenge.

What else would expect from a league full of old white owners?

Thanks Zo but you are misguided. The ideal has never been realized nor will it ever be ( ( America is not nor will She ever be perfect) . That doesn't mean we don't hold those ideals dear and honor our flag and Country and anthem by standing in silence when it is played. Kap may be better than some guys out there, but that doesn't mean I want him on my team. He's just not that good to make the Circus that will arrive with him something that the team willwant to deal with. So excuse me, I have to go tend to my Confederate flag now. It's just a symbol, no need to be upset over it and I'm glad you are so understanding.

Bottom line, Kap isn't that good and is being taught a lesson that his one time employer doesn't owe him a job.

I totally agree with you--and so does Jim Brown!

I'm not sure exactly what he was protesting by not rising to honor America during the playing of the anthem like everyone else. But he's as much of an idiot as the guy sitting down while he scarfs Nachos with his hat on in row 5. Is that guy " protesting" too? No he's just an idiot.

You have NO idea what he was protesting? I'm calling bull ****.

Tyrod Taylor > Kapernick

I wouldnt B word and moan like some of you. Tyrod is a better QB so I wouldnt wanna waste the cap on it, it makes no sense if they bring in anyone it should be a pocket passer that makes his reads and throws quick. I respect Kap's right to exercise his freedom of speech. Some of you people that condemn Kap would allow those neo nazis to run a rally fueled by hatred. That hurts. I wish we could do better as a world but it is what it is.

What's the 1 week angle?

I don't see us carrying 3 QBs this year. We aren't cutting Peterman. I don't think they'll risk PSing him. But they may. They may be hoping to get a roster cut.

I would much rather let the week play out with someone who won't cost us more than about $3.50 and take a look next sunday

You tried this 2 years ago and got suspended for harassing me via PM

You are very dumb and racist

Would I accept Kaepernick on this team? Absolutely I would. I have no issues with him taking a stance (or a knee in this case). On the other hand I think that it makes zero sense for the Bills to bring him in. His level of play doesn't warrant the circus that comes with him. I agree with Shady on that.

no I didn't. I've never been suspended by anyone than beerball when he was on his crusade and that was shortened. And when I said we should ban trucks for 24 hours.

I don't know if I've ever PM'd you, for the record because I don't care.

I can post the PM's where you threatened me

Would you like for me to do that

Oh I'm familiar with what he said he was supposedly " protesting" but don't see a connection to America, the anthem, the brave soldiers who fought to keep us free or standing to honor those things and his misguided ideas. It was clear from his explanations that he knew very little about the facts involved in those situations or even what was happening afterward.

He and others need to realize the anthem protest is hollow and meaningless. Over paid athletes only hurt themselves protesting national social issues in this manner. So he's an idiot hurting only himself and really adding nothing to the national discourse. That said, if he could help us win one more game than we would without him, I'd sign him in a heartbeat.

Cool. What's your point? That CK isn't the only idiot in America ? Didn't need to go to a tailgate to find that out, but it's almost a guarantee you will find some there. Good for you.

You sound mad

I'm not mad at all. You seem quite angry about something though. Going to tailgates to take photos of strange people , starting polls after calling people offensive names such as " racist". That is indicative of an anger problem that you may want to get checked out. Following the Bills may be just too frustrating for you. It's not nice to call people names and make snap judgements about them. Perhaps you could spend time more constructively. Perhaps look into getting a job in law enforcement. You can make a difference. It starts ... with one.
