outsidethebox Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I get the sense that they blindly believe in their system or "process" Even at the expense of benefiting the roster Trust the process
EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Trust the process History has not been kind to those who go all in on a fearless leader with no track record. A process never won anyone a championship. Coaching does
bisonbrigade Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Ragland will be traded to a team playing the 3-4 for a QB and a 5th round pick in 2018.
WMDman Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Ragland will be traded to a team playing the 3-4 for a QB and a 5th round pick in 2018. prolly the packers
outsidethebox Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 prolly the packers Ragland for Aaron Rodgers and a fifth? They might do it.
WMDman Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Ragland for Aaron Rodgers and a fifth? They might do it. id want at least a third
outsidethebox Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 id want at least a third Lol, good thinking. Ragland was a second round pick!
zonabb Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I think they'll troll the waiver wire and cuts. It's a good plan given that teams often have to cu quality players at positions where the are deep. Those cuts are often worth look when they're better than the garbage a team has. They're dead in the water this year. And it appears they're all in (fully pregnant!) on the long view. So they'll whittle down the miscreants and dead weight and build from the draft and free agency. I think this is a 2-3 process to skim the scum off and get the players they want and start seeing results. I'm for it, sick of the hiring new coaches, no plan, and "we're here to won" schtick. It'll suck going and being a ST holder but I'm up for a new approach, as long as they stick with it
Bills Pimpin' Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Ragland will be traded to a team playing the 3-4 for a QB and a 5th round pick in 2018. They have gotten a draft pick and a comparable player for a couple of other classic draft day blunders by Whaley, it would be nice to get rid of one more for a similar deal.
kota Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Oh dear god. Just because he made one move that shouldn't mean it's the standard going forward.
boyst Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Kyle Williams should retire a Bill. He should mean more than a pick or questionable trade, to both the fans and FO id send him to NE if i had to so he can win
Boatdrinks Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 id send him to NE if i had to so he can win I would never send any players to that team.
JM2009 Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I would never send any players to that team. They could get a ring.
boyst Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I would never send any players to that team. he's the only one i would. that or fred jackson. i'd trade boldins rights to the jets just to be a dick, though.
Boatdrinks Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 They could get a ring. So what? The team owes them nothing but the $$ they agreed to play for.
JM2009 Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 So what? The team owes them nothing but the $$ they agreed to play for. Maybe. Maybe not.
Sandy McFiddish Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Trade KC their 3rd round pick back for Alex Smith. They owe us for letting them move up 18 spots.
1billsfan Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 (edited) Trade KC their 3rd round pick back for Alex Smith. They owe us for letting them move up 18 spots. The Bills are looking towards the 2018 QB draft class with the trade down with KC, and the trading of Watkins for a second round pick. Mid thirties Alex Smith makes no sense and does nothing for a team which no doubt will be one of the youngest teams in the league next year, and who will also probably have selected a high first round QB pick. The "this journeyman QB will be good enough for the Bills to finally make the playoffs" method is thankfully a thing of the past. Edited August 28, 2017 by 1billsfan
Sandy McFiddish Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Yes that is very true, would be like our Matt Cassel move all over again lol. Even if we do not win the Darnold sweepstakes there are so many good Qb's coming out next year. Plus last time KC had a schedule this tough they went 4-12.
Marty McFly Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 What can we get for a slightly used OLine coach? Castillo and Ducasse for a decent OT. !@#$ it, trade them both for a 7th round pick and a cheeseburger that O line is trash with the scheme, technique isnt being taught right, look at the Ravens O line. they got better as soon as Castillo stopped coaching
