Tipster19 Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Isn't that exactly what taking on Brock's contract would consist of? Ok, first of all that is why I am asking the question about the cap ramifications, it's too complicated to figure out. I was just hoping for someone to explain if numbers could be worked out on their contracts but I should have known better around here. Secondly he played for Dennison in Denver and at the time of him becoming a FA Denver was trying to retain him. Last but not least the guy is 6'7", it looks like the Cardale trade is going to haunt us.

You can't be with any real study of his recent play at HOU last season and now with CLE. Terrible idea!
Tipster19 Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Sorry folks but Dareus is as good as gone, it's just a matter of when. Oh, btw, it looks like we are in serious need of some QBs.
leonbus23 Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 (edited) Interesting post. Two almost worthless players (for different reasons) with big contracts. I wonder if Cleveland would even consider this, even though they get the better player (by far). They dealt with Gordon and Manzel, recently. At least Osweiler is guaranteed to be available to play. Who knows with the fat captain! Edited August 27, 2017 by leonbus23
