Which QB

  1. 1. So who's YOUR starting qb?

Sure why not.

You know better than that.

It the passing game that needs to evolve not the running game.

And for the record.

My point has been not to 💩 on Peterman so fast.

I know this...which is why I've told you a half dozen times that "don't dismiss Peterman's potential" is an entirely separate argument from "who gives this team the bests chance to win right now".

Can't believe two people voted for Yates.

I can't believe that many are still blind to Tyrod after two solid seasons of fail. We even got to watch a few of this years preseason fail from him and they are still blind. This team is such a hot pile of garbage...SMH

Except he didn't fail in the offense he was asked to run the last two years. Not great, but far from terrible.

So what is the correct way to develop a QB?

We had Collins and Losman - both sat a year before getting to start - did not develop.

We had Edwards and Manual - started as Rookies - did not develop.

Across the league - you had guys like Manning in the past and Prescott/Wilson start as rookies and develop and guys like Brady and Rodgers take a year or more and develop.

Cleveland has had a ton of picks some starting right away and some sitting and they have not developed.

I believe - if a guy is a fit in the system - playing him will develop him faster than sitting him. I think sitting a player will produce a more consistent player when they actually start, but it does not aid in development.

The key is the guy has to be a player. Sitting and starting has never been a factor as far as I can tell - both systems work and former NFL QBs have Pros and Cons of both. If the Bills feel he is the better player - there is no reason not to start him. If the Bills feel TT gives them the best chance at the moment - then you start him.

Everything you state is your opinion - I would love to see the facts that back it up.

Your take on when to start a QB for the first time is valid and well laid out Rochester, but the problem now is do you really want to put a kid you have some hope for out there when him getting his clock cleaned isn't an if scenario but when. And where do you find an out of work QB who's dumb enough to sign up for the short term gig.

Take off the thick glasses man we have a new staff that won't cover up Tyrods lack of talent with a offensive scheme geared just for Tyrod. Lynn is gone and so should Tyrod. It's over man, it either happens now or in a few games but it's done. It will be easier for you if you let go now man, please lay off the padded stats of the last few years we will never see Tyrod in that scheme again.

Yeah, WTF! A coach who schemes to the strengths of the players he has! That's gotta stop now! Let's run the offense in a manner least suitable to the players capabilities! Enough is enough!

A good staff finds players to learn there systems. A staff that gears it around a QB not talented enough ends up a Rex/Chan out of work.

If our new staff is here to run Lynn's system for Tyrod why did they get rid of him?

Good coaches want to run their system If this team is going to be built around Tyrod this staff is already dead in the water.

This new system is geared for Peterman it's why he is the best QB this preseason on this team.

Sounds a lot like Rexie's strategy for the defense a few years back doesn't it?

The offense was 12th and 10th in points scored the last two years. Play to the strength of the talent you have. This is why the defense failed under Ryan.

Yet the coaches have Taylor as the #1 QB . Stupid coaches for not listening to xRUSHx.

So your strategy as a new staff is come in and run the last failed staffs system, not your own? It would be different if this was a playoff team but this is a team that hasn't sniffed the playoffs in how long?

Changes need to be made and this teams offense needs to be corrected to be able to beat the better teams not pad stats after the game is already over.

The offense wasn't the problem the last two seasons as a whole. the defense was. that is why Ryan was let go.

Like I said in a earlier post, the Tyrod pushers are in here hard core trying to sell Tyrod as a QB that can play in this new system even though the preseason has proved different. The end is near you Tyrod pushers will be done soon enough.

Come in and work with what you have, make improvements and begin a transition to a system to your liking. Gradual transition. Draft a savior QB next year because Pete's not the guy...No matter what, they need to improve their OL play before anything will work.

Same old song and dance from you but looking at the new system proves Tyrod is also the problem like it or not the end is near for Tyrod in Buffalo.

The preseason hasn't proven anything with lineup experimentation, missing starters, and no gameplanning. Thanks for your comic relief.

Yep. I agree. We just have to be patient and trust the system
