Doc Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 doesn't say what rule he violated? 10 mins late to a meeting? late for the bus? Probably late for something.
Ga boy Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I wonder how Bruce, Jimbo, Thurmond, and Biscuit would have done with this Coach??
buffaloboyinATL Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I had a bad feeling when I saw the captain hat on travel day.

Perry Turtle Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 If McDermott was the Bills coach in the mid-80s, the Bills Super Bowl years never would have happened. His 'team rules' would have ended the Buffalo careers of Smith, Kelly, and Thomas before they began. McDermott better figure out how to coach difficult personalities or he won't be around long. Nobody pays to watch 'culture,' or 'the process,' or a 'system.' They pay to watch great players maximize their potential to make great plays to win games.
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 In college, our WR #2 missed the bus from the hotel to the stadium. Our coach made him run to the game. he'd lose a few pounds on that run today. I hope they say what rule he violated?
BUFFALOTONE Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I wonder how Bruce, Jimbo, Thurmond, and Biscuit would have done with this Coach?? This team isn't nearly as talented as those guys were. You put up with things at a certain level but even the bickering Bills had checks and balances.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 he'd lose a few pounds on that run today. I hope they say what rule he violated? We will likely never know.McD isn't exactly an open book
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 It's a preseason game, and if this sends a message home before the season starts, hell yes. Rex would never have done this, and this also avoids injury risk.

4_kidd_4 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Trade me right fi%$^&'g now then hang up! Who own da Chief?
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I agree. Atlanta should have never been patient with a guy like Julio Jones. Look what good that did them. Or do you mean Dareus who missed two games in his first five years? Five last year and potentially 10 this year
Boatdrinks Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I'm good with this. I'm curious to see what exactly this rule is / was. We likely will never know . Any talk of releasing the player is ridiculous at this point.

What's the point of team rules if you don't enforce them? Some of you guys just think we should let them run willy nilly as long as they are good at playing football. All that does is teach them that they can run willy nilly and collect millions. Doesn't make them better at football. Doesn't make the Bills a better team. Discipline can be a good thing. Marcell should try it, for once.
KellyToughII Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora · 38s Bills new regime doing yeoman's work trying to change culture here. Loosey-goosey Rex Ryan days long over. Dareus long been an issue Damn straight he has. I look for them to unload him just as soon as the new league year (cap) hits.
John from Riverside Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Would just like to know what he did
KellyToughII Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Five last year and potentially 10 this year Joe I am with you. I dont think I would have sent him home. I think I would have kept it quiet and traded his ass for anything I could have got this week.
Boatdrinks Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 if that is the rule he broke, that's pretty petty to me. What rule? Social media? Just curious
4merper4mer Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Trading and benching your best players isn't tanking. It's so annoying that you would think that.
