Magox Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 What a disappointment. One can only hope that he gets his **** together before the season begins. Hopefully it was something pretty benign and they are just trying to keep him in check for the season.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 He was late to the game. Showed up at 5 and most of the team already on field stretching. Should be , he needs to learn he's not special.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Brandon Beane: "We Have Expectations, We Have Standards" (3:52) The Bills general manager talks about Marcell Dareus not playing against the Ravens, and Eric Wood's contract extension.
MAJBobby Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 How long are fans going to wait for this guy to get it together? Fans i think are done already. Â Bills will wait through next year anyway
Bill_with_it Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Â Â you know at the end of the day whether he learns or not it wont have any impact on anyone's life but his own. people can talk, bash, belittle or condemn him. it's still his life and those doing so will not have one ounce of impact on him, speaking of those here. Â Â the coach made a decision, he learns from it or he doesn't. You are correct. I can just see Dareus broke and blaming the NFL for his problems 10 yrs after retirement from the league. Im not bashing or belittling him, I truly feel sorry for him not realizing that these folks are trying to prevent him from self destruction.Sooner or later (hopefully sooner for his sake) he realizes it.
JMF2006 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I wonder how Bruce, Jimbo, Thurmond, and Biscuit would have done with this Coach?? Â They were winning there was no need for a culture change.
Buffalo Bills Detective Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Fans i think are done already. Â Bills will wait through next year anyway Release Dareus to make room to one day sign Josh Allen to the biggest QB contract in history!
Buffalo716 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I personally still want him here. He's a good kid at heart who is immature. Â He is a rare talent with very few flaws on the field
GunnerBill Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 How long are fans going to wait for this guy to get it together? What difference does it make? The team is tied to him.
Augie Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 How long are fans going to wait for this guy to get it together? Well, since we have no authority to actually do anything.... forever? It's that or go away, and I'm not happy, but I'm not going away. Â How long did it take Bruce to see the light? NOT saying he's Bruce or that will happen, but... We can hope.
DaBillsFanSince1973 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 You are correct. I can just see Dareus broke and blaming the NFL for his problems 10 yrs after retirement from the league. Im not bashing or belittling him, I truly feel sorry for him not realizing that these folks are trying to prevent him from self destruction. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner for his sake) he realizes it. Â you know, when and if he is no longer a bill, what he does with his life will be his business. Â Â Â he has great potential, hopefully he learns from this?
KRT88 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 It wouldn't be a cap hit it would kill this team moving forward. TONS of dead money for two years.
Buddy Hix Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Yeah, we should have let him walk. He was coming off an all pro season. All pro DTs are easy to find. Â And we did Dareus a favor. They should sign McCoy home too. The preseason is only good for ruining seasons with injuries. Â You do know there is middle ground between not signing an all-pro problem child and signing an all-pro problem child to a deal with no out clauses if the problems continue, right?
DDD Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I can't wait until we get rid of all our good talent. Â You're not going to win with a person with no self-respect and motivation. Can't be counted on.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Most guys that know they are going to make the team, would probably pay to be sent home for preseason games. I don't know if that's even a punishment to a guy like Dareus
Kemp Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I've had enough of Dareus. What good is talent if you're a stone-cold idiot?
NoSaint Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Again so punishment is sending him home from that meaningless game is not punishment for any player secured on this team It's a fairly public embarrassment
