26CornerBlitz Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I'm getting it for free and I'm trying to find a way out. Not really- I'm a glutton for punishment and will watch every bills game It's pretty sad if you won't accept a product at no charge.
McBean Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I have a feeling McBean is about to make another huge move this week.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I don't feel sorry at all for McDermott or Beane. These two greenhorns think they can sell any ole' **** sandwich to players and fans. No one is buying it. 👍
major Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I was joking- of course I'm going to watch our bills for free It's pretty sad if you won't accept a product at no charge.
Jauronimo Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Matthews is a pretty established #1 - not dominant or anything - but legit #1 NFL WR No, he isn't. He's an established WR3 and good slot receiver.
jethro_tull Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) I have a feeling McBean is about to make another huge move this week. He's got his finger on the "T" button. And it is starting to itch- badly. Edited August 21, 2017 by jethro_tull
Real McClappy Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 We've given way too much power to McDermott. I feel like this could be Josh McDaniels V 2.0. more like Chip Kelly 2.0, but I feel you.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) I agree for the most part. They were/are going to suck with or without Boldin. Zay and Matthews are fine. I think they should have kept Watkins though. Streeter could be fine as a 3. Some of the other guys Shorts, Reilly, have been showing some signs. This staff doesn't value WR as highly as some. Carolina pedigree and they don't! Edited August 21, 2017 by horned dogs
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Still doesn't change the fact that they signed Boldin though. That was a move to help them win this season. Beane had no clue Boldin was going to retire when he made that statement. Doesn't the GM or HC put FA's through a workout before they sign them? Almost all of the fans on here said he looked ridiculously slow, how could your GM or HC not see this as well. It's becoming scary to be a fan of this team.
outsidethebox Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Did you watch Thursday? He looked like someone's grandfather. I think he ws playing out of position. He is/was a slot receiver
NoSaint Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 i agree with you- point was that he seemed to have something left in the tank (no pun intended). And my point was that's a pretty "I'm done" stat line for a WR. It left him 118th in the league and he's only aging further
EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I have a feeling McBean is about to make another huge move this week. I don't even know you but I'm pretty sure I hate you
transplantbillsfan Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Is this a sign of things to come with lost faith in the HC and GM? Nothing would surprise me now. We might trade or cut all our best players for an upcoming tank. That blows. I never got the impression that was in McDermott's head.
YoloinOhio Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) @byjerrysullivan Earlier today, I mentioned Boldin's recent work to help effect change in the criminal justice system: https://t.co/7VdmGrpayn?amp=1 Boldin organized two visits to Congress by NFL players this past year. His cousin was killed by a Florida police officer in a 2015 incident Boldin testified about his cousin's death to a Congressional forum and later met with two senators who sponsored a bill for police reform. unbillievable Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 somebody needs to update the compensatory pick thread
BADOLBILZ Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Matthews' arrival meant he was gonna be an afterthought in the offense. He's strictly a slot receiver at this point too, so it's not a big deal. Won't stop the media from laughing though. It's not Beane's or McDermott's fault. ANYTHING is fine at this point. Watkins was their most valuable asset......the next most valuable assets are Tre White and Zay Jones........and that's just because they are new and under team control for a few years. They might still bring picks that project to be less than a full round after they were just drafted in return. Tyrod and Shady probably 3rd round values but hard to trade because of $..........Shaq probably worth a 4th.
BringBackOrton Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 somebody needs to update the compensatory pick thread Doesn't affect comp picks.
jethro_tull Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 And my point was that's a pretty "I'm done" stat line for a WR. It left him 118th in the league and he's only aging further so they should not have bothered in the first place?
McBean Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 I don't even know you but I'm pretty sure I hate you Geez man sorry if I pissed you off that bad. Hate is a strong word!
BillsDiehard Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Speculation is that he may resurface with another team...wouldn't we own his rights?
