They seem to have just traded Boldin for Bennett, as I have mentioned would probably happen.

So now it is Miami, TB, and SF needing a RB.

3 stud running backs in draft.

Plus TB may opt to just stay with Pittman.

SF doesn't seem to like Barlow, but who knows.

Why?  Does this team really need him?

We need an LT...and he's the best option because he comes so cheap. I dont know what TD is going to do now.

At this point, I'm willing to give up a 3rd rounder for Shelton. We could probably get that 3rd rounder back anyways by trading Travis to another team.

Oh I'm cool as the other side of the pillow...just very concerned because Henry was our best card to get Shelton with. That coupled with our ever-shrinking salary cap makes me think poor JP is going to be running for his life.

Let McNally work his magic. We'll be fine. I think SDS brought up a great point in a previous thread about shuffling the line around. It's a good thought and it just might happen. For some reason I think we look for a center now and move teague over to rt and then put Williams on JP's blind side. It makes sense if you think about it. With Tucker and Villarial at the gaurd positions. The last position required is the center, which comes cheaper than a ot. What do you think? It's possible.

If we traded our 3 to AZ for Shelton and got Miami's 3 for Travis, the deal would basically be Travis for Shelton AND a move up 17 spots in the third round. That would be a better deal than Travis for Shelton straight up, with the only negative being that Travis would be in our division to haunt us.

Generally you want a road grader on the right side and a more agile guy protecting the quarterback's blind side. Teague doesn't seem to me to fit the profile of a RT.

The only question is will Minny stand pat with Moore and Smith at RB?

They have Moe Williams, too. I think they would. They have always liked Smith, and Moore played fantastic for them when he was in, although I doubt any of the three could carry the load as an every down back. Getting Boldin would help Minnesota a lot, and they don't really need Bennett. I still would be a little surprised if the Cards did this, although, they are the Cards. They have been trying to lock up Boldin to a long term deal, and if that had recently fallen through perhaps this is what as hastened the trade.

Nice call Bill.

TB just reworked Pittman, Garner and Alstots contracts. Plus they're looking at Blalock from KC. I would doubt that TB is in the mix right now.

Wasn't that his natural position?
