26CornerBlitz Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 MIller should win this one hands down. Ducasse is not that good at all. FTFY.
MAJBobby Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 YES YES YES. I get to see the amazing Ducasse start Saturday. Perfect decision by Castillo.
Royale with Cheese Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 This is a gut punch. Ducasse doesn't even look good as a back up and now he's a potential starter with us? WTF? We hired another set of duds. When will it end? Should we just fire them today?
John from Riverside Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Maybe they are making a final evaluation whether to cut him or not
Royale with Cheese Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Maybe they are making a final evaluation whether to cut him or not I really, really, really hope that's what it is.
Matt_In_NH Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 They have only played him at C for the entire training camp and preseason. AND? Everyone seems to agree he is a great talent. put him in at RG and if Wood goes out, he sldes to C and you bring in one of the scrubs.

You would think if they really strongly consider him as a guard, he would have taken reps there at some point but he has not. I think the plan with him is having him start at center next year, releasing Wood.
GG Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 In all fairness, Miller has only ben marginally better than Vlad. Of course the entire OL was a horror show last Thurs
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Why? Whhyyyy? It makes all the sense in the world to can Ducasse. Why would you make him a starter?
Houston's #1 Bills Fan Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Maybe they are making a final evaluation whether to cut him or not Agreed. Giving him one final chance to prove he knows how to block.
billsbackto81 Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 C'mon guys! This is simply a motivational tactic to get Miller to up his game, nothing more. Vlad the Bad will be cut before the season begins.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Anyone heard Ducasse in front of a camera? Is he more articulate than Miller?
26CornerBlitz Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Anyone heard Ducasse in front of a camera? Is he more articulate than Miller? His play speaks volumes and clearly says........
SoTier Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 In all fairness, Miller has only ben marginally better than Vlad. Of course the entire OL was a horror show last Thurs Vlad Ducasse has NEVER, EVER been good, not even when he was much younger and screwing up for the Jests. Miller, at least, is younger so there's a slight chance he might get better. Because the coaches and GMs know more then you. Haven't you learned that from the past 17 years? Well said, sir. The names and faces change but the basic brilliance of OBD's FO and coaches remains the same.
JimKellyTryouts Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 C'mon guys! This is simply a motivational tactic to get Miller to up his game, nothing more. Vlad the Bad will be cut before the season begins. That's what we're all hoping for; therefore - with our luck - it won't happen?

Miller, at least, is younger so there's a slight chance he might get better. What does that say about Miller, who did not have a much better game than Vlad? Everyone highlighted Vlad getting plowed into Tyrod. Well, Miller got plowed in the same way in the next series, and it wasn't by Fletcher Cox. Newsflash, the entire right side of the line was god awful last Thursday. And don't get me started about Jefferson. I have no clue why they're risking their QBs out there with him protecting the blind side.

Miller has also played pretty well in past NFL performances while Vlad as you indicated has never been any good at all.

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 GROY at RG, end of story. Have no idea why this hasn't been done yet. Hopefully Cordy heals and we get Dawkins at RT. BINGO! Our 3 biggest problems-- Mills, Ducasse and Miller on the pine.
