It's really not bad at all. But I'm a bit of a purist, just prefer the song as-is.

 

Production was far better than I expected clicking the link.

It's so compressed. It has potential but needs a new mix to bring out the fullness. This feels like ska, not rock. But I just listened to the old one and it sucks, so good job. I'll take yours with a. remix any day.
