***PetrinoInAlbany*** Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 OK, I'll be the optimist ... BEST CASE: Bledsoe nails "Comeback Player Of The Year" ... The Bills pass to set up the run regularly ... late in games, Willis regularly makes tired defenders look silly ... The Bills go 10-6, and grab the Wild Card. Then, with the veteran QB and the running game to tame January, we surprise everyone by going one or two deep into the dance! WORST CASE: Bledsoe gets hurt, Bush gets re-elected, and the world ends. Pick one.

Guest Guest Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 I see us 11 -5 .All I really want to know is why does everyone have us loseing to baltimore.Being from Maryland i get to watch the games and i have to say that unless their defense scores 21 points I can't see it.Just my opinion but the only reason there record is what it is every year is the god-awful division they play in, which may change now that cincy is getting better.GO BILLS
KRT88 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 My best case situation has the Bills going 10-6. They appear to have one difficult schedule. West Coast trips are never easy, the division is even outside of NE but three west coast trips screw things up but they will run the ball, eat up the clock, the defense should keep them in games and this year they win more than they lose the close ones because of experience gained last year. Jax...................................W @ Oak..............................W BYE NE.....................................L @NYJ ...............................W Miami...............................W @ Balt...............................L Ariz..................................W NYJ...................................W @NE..................................L St Lou...............................W @Seattle............................L @Miami.............................L Cleve...............................W @Cinci...............................L @SF..................................W Pitt....................................W My worst case situation is 5-11. The inconsistant o-line is a major concern. Bledsoe scares me because I see the same things I saw last year, holding the ball, and unable to avoid the pass rush, which will be all over him due to the o-line. The running back controvercy could rear its ugly head adding to the chaos, the defense still doesn't create enough turnovers and can this team score enough points? frogger Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 game 1-Jax-unless they did something great to improve their pass defense this offseason they are still the Jags-win Game two oak-BIG DL, and sure their d has to be better, but who is on offense that scares us-Win Bye- a great chance to review the tapes and see what NE does well NE-the problem NE has the same bye and they out match us-But damn it it's close.-Loss NJJ-Win, can you name their CBs, while there offense can put up points we will too.-Win Miami-I can't wait, no ricky, no Boston, no QB, no OL, defense is getting old-WIN Balt-IF we can contain Lewis or if he is at his trial we have a shot, their defense is amazing, but they are able to be beat, see baxter-up in the air Arizona-win, no way we lose to them. NJJ-win see above NE-win, they have to lose to us, we'll be on a role and beat them at there house. STL-they're good on offense, if our offense is clicking, it will be close but after a win like NE we are bound to lose-Loss Seattle-I like Seattles chances this year, good all around-Loss Mia-WIN-offense wakes up after two week struggles cleveland-Win Cinci-Win they're still Cinci-no matter who is the coach, and on paper there defense is offensive SF-this is called a stat builder-win Pitts-pittsburgh will be out of the playoff picture, and TM will lose out to rookie BR-we win, Schobel will collect his 15th sack at this point and we are on the way to the playoffs.
Corp000085 Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 19-0 baby. I can't be pessimistic. Realistically, we'll win our last game. Whether it be against the steelers, or some nfc chump, we'll win our last game.

Good News: I see them as a Wild Card entrant. Best Case (11-5) Count @ SF as a win. Worst Case (7-9) Count @ Jest, @ Dulfelons, @ Bungles as losses.
Bill from NYC Posted September 7, 2004 Posted September 7, 2004 Given we actually resign Schobel then next years draft looks like this if we want to win some games down the line: Rnd 1 OL Rnd2 OL Rnd 3 OL Rnd 4 OL and sign a decent FA OL or two............And a DE wouldn't hurt either then we might go better than .500 19965[/snapback] Sounds good, but the 1st round pick is no longer with us.
