njsue Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 I am being positive and realistic. This bills team turns it on high this season.
Frez Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 8-8 and Bledsoe looks just like he did last year. Next year JP Losman gets the team! What I would love to see is............10-6 and a playoff spot and Bledsoe tearing up the NFL with touchdown passes.
njsue Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 (edited) You might just see that performance FREZ. Be positive. Bledsoe has better coaching an a damn great QB coach. Edited September 6, 2004 by njsue

I'll be going to the Seattle game to watch those loggers up there yell "Timber" every time Bledsoe gets sacked
Frez Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 This team has so many question marks going into the season. We have no idea what we have for an offensive line. That is a huge question going into this season. Bledsoe needs max protection!
Amstel Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 I'm hoping for 8-8 but that might not be achievable.....I just don't think the O line is going to be much better than last year.....
mead107 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 11 and 5`win first play off game then wait till next year , my dream said we win it all ,but my dreams are far fetched .................
bb63 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 B) If thier is one thing I"ve learned in all my years of being a Bills fan , it is that predicting wins and losses is meaningless ! They always seem to lose the ones thier suppose to win and win the ones they are suppose to lose . So here goes 7-9!
Guest swami Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 If Bledsoe gets hurt, they could go 8-8. If Bledsoe stays healthy, it's more like 6-10. The optimist in me says that JP Losman's progress will make Bledsoe expendable after this year. With an entire coaching staff dedicated to salvaging Bledsoe I believe it will take them only one season of frustration and agony to realize they are throwing money down the toilet by keeping Bledsoe. I am therefore optimistic about 2005.
Stussy109 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Vegas handicappers have us at over/under 8 wins this season. I like the over, personally.

The Avenger Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 -New coaches - reason to be excited - THIS time we got someone organized who knows what he's doing and the coaching is going to bring out the talent we have on this squad. -Finally, a solid #2 WR to play opposite Moulds. Peerless who? -Top defense - these guys will anchor a season where we win the AFC East -I know the line is a bit shaky now and we don't have any real superstars, but they will play well as a unit - McNally will get the best out of them. Heard any/all of this before in years past? Me too, and I'm tired of being burned for being so optimistic. I don't think we go any better than 7-9. This is not a playoff team. I'd love to be proven wrong, but so much unrealized optimism in the past few years has brought nothing but heartache - better to be pleasantly surprised down the road than bitterly disappointed.
DevilsAlum Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 When it comes to my teams, I am the eternal optimist. JAX W @OAK W NE w @NYJ w MIA W @BAL L ARZ W NYJ W @NE L StL w SEA w @MIA w CLE W @CIN w @SF l PIT W 13-3? I must be drunk
JayFromDC Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 The really sad thing is that this is really not a tough schedule with the exception of the pats, seahawks, ravens and rams I believe are the only playoff teams in our entire schedule, but an immobile QB who Im not so sure if his confidence is back yet despite what the hell he says and JP going down along with still not having a threat opposite Eric, I think we blow an opportunity to get in this year as a wild card
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 7-9...this team is SO not ready for the playoffs with our piss-poor offensive line and Bledsoe's seemingly diminishing skills. Until we find a suitable replacement for Bledsoe and his "pat pat pat" technique (and the only real good replacement on roster wont be available to us until Week 12), we'll be stuck in neutral.
Amstel Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Given we actually resign Schobel then next years draft looks like this if we want to win some games down the line: Rnd 1 OL Rnd2 OL Rnd 3 OL Rnd 4 OL and sign a decent FA OL or two............And a DE wouldn't hurt either then we might go better than .500
Rico Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Jax......................W @ Oak..................W BYE NE.......................L @NYJ ..................L Miami..................W @ Balt..................L Ariz.....................W NYJ......................W @NE.....................L St Lou..................L @Seattle.................L @Miami................L Cleve..................W @Cinci.................L @SF....................W Pitt......................W 8-8... 2-4 in the division. Good news is we end the season on a high note, winning 3 out of 4... JP era begins in 2005!
