I see them splittin with NE and sweeping a weak miami team
Matt in KC Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 8 wins +/- 2 I would be shocked if they won less than 6 or more than 10.... To win more than 10, they need a solid o-line, same strong D and good fortune. To win less than 6 would only happen with a critical injury or two. My guess: JAX W @OAK L NE W @NYJ L MIA W @BAL L ARZ W NYJ W @NE L StL W SEA L @MIA L CLE W @CIN L @SF W PIT L
Rayzer32 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 9-7 missing out on the wild card. Another year without playoffs and our studs will be another year older next TC when we may have a shot.
Guest t cal Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Well guys---looking at this team 6-10 comes to mind right away. HOWEVER,do NOT underestimate how bad greggy Williams and that O coordinator(damn--cant think of his name--must have blocked it out) were last year. That gives me hope.......................9-7!!!!!!!!
gggbills Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 10-6 ..and a wild card 19500[/snapback] I concur
BB2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 Reality sets in. 7-9. We get better as the season goes on. We start out pretty horrible.
Happy Days Lois & Clark Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 The optimist in me says 11-5 The pesimist in me says 7-9 I would guess maybe they will go 10-6
Gary M Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 What's pessimism? 11-5 and AFC East and SB champs

KOKBILLS Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 The optimist in me says 10-6, and a tie (w/ The Patsies) for the Division Crown... The pessimist in me (usually the winner in the battles of my inner mind) says 8-8 because we simply are lacking the O-Line talent to play the desired Run, Run, pound it out, use Play Action, and Play tough D Game that the Bills have promised. I think if you assume a 3-3 Divisional record (for the sake of arguement only), and assume Home Wins vs. Arizona, Cleveland, and J-Ville (I just think the Bills come out and play lights out in week #1. Just a gut feeling.), along with Road losses at Seattle and Baltimore (the 2 toughest Non Division Road Games IMHO), that leaves a 6-5 Record. The St. Louis and Pittsburgh Home Games, along with the Oakland, Cincy and San Fran Road Games seem to be the "swing Games" on this schedule. The optimist in Me says the Bills go 4-1 in those "swing Games..." the pessimist in me says...well...nevermind... B) Something tells me it will be closer to the 8-8 pessimistic prediction, mostly because of the bad taste in my mouth from last Season. But this Team has talent, and if they could somehow figure out a way to sweep Miami and The Jets, it will go a LONG way towards a successful Season...

Spiderweb Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 I just can't seem to muster the hope that I had last year. That season was such a nightmare beginning with game 3 that The Bills never woke up from. Glad to finally see Kilbride gone, along with the head schmuck GW so this should at leat help a bit. We're six days away from seeing whether the Bills finally will have a commitment to the run after years of saying they would, only to see pass after pass in situations where a commitment to the run may have sustained a few more drives. Never the less, I'm pumped and ready for the action to begin, but I'm not wildly optimistic like I was last year. My gut tells me we'll hover around .500.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 7-9..the O will be the problem as Evan`s has a rough year...we have the need for speed on offense, and I haven`t seen it yet..Evan`s or Willis..could Aiken be M. M.s Plexico Burress??
