Big C Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I guess if he's really given up on his track career then this is no big deal whatsoever. Although it's a little rude that he played through his entire rookie deal with us before finally committing to football!

dezertbill Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Last time I checked NfFL suspends players for doping. In 3...2...1
mrags Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 ROTFLMFAO. Doping? Really?!? He's 170lbs soaking wet and he's guilty of doping? Wonder what happens when he gets off the sauce. Anyone ever see a 110lb WR?

Over 29 years of fanhood Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Last time I checked NfFL suspends players for doping. In 3...2...1 Headline isn't fair to him. He failed to file paperwork, he didn't fail a test and the paperwork wasn't filed because he concluded that pursuit and thus had no need.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Something smells fishy here. I like Goodwin but with his injury history, it also wouldn't shock me that he was taking something illegal.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I believe he just kind of retired from track. And in track you have to be available for testing at any given moment, and he was not available. A missed non-NFL test shouldn't really be a guilty verdict when you're subjected to the random NFL testing.
Fan boy '92 Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Yeah, I just googled Marquise and every headline made it seem like he failed a test.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Yeah, I just googled Marquise and every headline made it seem like he failed a test. But if it's failure for non-testing then it doesn't really matter. He's suspended from track where he doesn't compete. The NFL can drug test him, and he can still pass.
YoloinOhio Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 will he say he took the PED for his sickle cell?he didn't fail any tests. He just stopped telling them where he was (which is required for test administration) because he is done with track.
K D Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Goodwin is retired from long jumping...until the next Olympics in 2020. lots of people like to praise Goodwin for being a good guy but he straight up played the Bills organization saying he was 100% committed to football but was training for the Olympics all along. shady mofo
LABILLBACKER Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 It really doesn't matter. He'll catch a 70 yard fly route for a TD in week 1, then get injured and be on IR by week 2.
