Underhill also notes that there are several teams interested in the would-be starting cornerback for Dennis Allens defense. Edited August 14, 2017 by MAJBobby

He had a great 2015 out of nowhere but struggled some in 2016. They are questioning his desire some down here. He's a nice player when right and absolutely fits the "high character" profile. I'd probably pass at this point though. I'd be curious to hear NoSaints take...
BuffaloBaumer Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Let's give em Jerry Hughes for him. Or maybe Dareus? Shady would be my choice...and I'm serious. It's all about the future now
Kirby Jackson Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Shady would be my choice...and I'm serious. It's all about the future now Why would they want Shady when they have Ingram, Peterson and Kamara?
BuffaloBaumer Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Why would they want Shady when they have Ingram, Peterson and Kamara? Because nothing makes sense anymore?
Chuck Wagon Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I've been informed multiple times that McDermott's defense would function fine with tackling dummies at corner, no need to give up assets for Breaux.

Kirby Jackson Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 This thread reads like the Whiner Line.....then don't chime in
Beast Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 ....then don't chime in I'll chime in where I want. I didn't tell you to quit yer whining.
Kirby Jackson Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I'll chime in where I want. I didn't tell you to quit yer whining. You posted that it sounded like the whiner line while we were having a discussion about Delvin Breaux. It just wasn't a very productive contribution. What are your thoughts on Breaux, that's what the topic is?
Jamie Muellers Ghost Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I think they like Seymour and want to see him get some game action to see where his best position is. After that if they're not confident I could see them picking up another corner.
MAJBobby Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 Would you take one of our newly acquired 3rds (specially if you think we will get another third in the Compensatory formula) and move that for him?
leonbus23 Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Let's give em Jerry Hughes for him. Or maybe Dareus? Agree. We throw in a 5th and they throw in a 2nd. To the future!

Kirby Jackson Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 He had a great 2015 and struggled in 2016 huh? He's still battling an injury and that's why the Saints are floating his name out there. He's been slow to get back and is still wearing a pad on his leg. They were saying on the radio today that he doesn't look right.

Saxum Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Lol. See Panthers defense after Josh Norman was traded. Julio Jones 300 yards in one game. Would've been funny to see Sammy torch the defense this year. Sure if you are not a Bills fan.....

I'd be curious to hear NoSaints take... I like the story more than the player I think... I don't dislike the player but I think the fans give him a ton of leeway because of a combo of the story and because other corners have been terrible. To put my grading of his talent into terms here: i liked him more than NRC, but less than Gilmore or Darby. but it's hard to judge anyone on that defense. Something just does not work and it's hard to put a finger on who/what are the problems. He had a great 2015 and struggled in 2016 huh? Even the great 2015 had a ton of penalties, and gave up some big plays... but he had no help and was pretty darn raw so all in all he had a good year. But I've always struggled with the word great on him.

I don't know if he will ever be fully healthy though.
