Mark Vader Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Sounds like a total meltdown at practice today. What would Bellichick do? Try and find new ways to cheat.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 @SalSports Here the are. My complete Bills' practice notes on a wild day at camp that had a little bit of everything: http://www.wgr550.com/articles/news/bills-practice-gets-chippy-after-mcdermott-gets-after-team
Big C Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Every sports movie I've ever seen has involved at least one inner-team scrap. They always win at the end.
Mark Vader Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Too bad Astro is on vacation. A report from him after today's practice would have been most interesting.
Figster Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Too bad Astro is on vacation. A report from him after today's practice would have been most interesting. Lets get ready to RUMBLE!!! In this corner fighting out of the Dennison O is Tyrod the T Mobile !!!
John from Riverside Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Do you realize how close McD might be right now from losing the team? but don't worry, be Happy... Is this sarcasm? Sometimes these things NEED to happen
stevewin Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 @pham1717 We were hoping to get McDermott on the Hughes issues but the Bills said he would not be talking after practice. He must have chipped a bone in his chest yelling at the team
26CornerBlitz Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 FRAZIER: "I LIKED THEIR ENERGY" (8:13) Bills DC Leslie Frazier spoke to the media prior to the team's practice at St. John Fisher College. Frazier shared his thoughts on who might fill in at the cornerback position as well as the first-team defensive performance against the Vikings.

26CornerBlitz Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 @MatthewFairburn Sean McDermott rips into players and more in today's observations from day 14 of Bills camp: http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/08/buffalo_bills_training_camp_day_14_sean_mcdermott_rips_into_players_11_observati.html
Dr. Who Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Any chance the team unhappiness is a reaction to the trades? I would hate to lose an elite player on my team for a marginal starting db and a draft pick.

My take is yes because players want to win and the Bills downgraded from a talent perspective and no amount of sugarcoating is going to mask that from the players.
outsidethebox Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 WTF. Next McD is going to scream at Beane "Go ahead and fire me!" Lol!!!! What great memories!
Figster Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 My take is yes because players want to win and the Bills downgraded from a talent perspective and no amount of sugarcoating is going to mask that from the players. It also leaves the whole locker room wondering who's next.
outsidethebox Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 @BuffRumblings Incognito says he's sick of hitting Kyle and Dareus over & over. Knows why guys frustrated. Wants to hit a guy in a different color jersey @SalSports Richie Incognito: "Coach told us this isn't the team we're intending to be. Get your **** together and come out here and strap it up." Richie sounds like a butt kissing yes man.
Dr. Who Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 My take is yes because players want to win and the Bills downgraded from a talent perspective and no amount of sugarcoating is going to mask that from the players. It can't sit well with the vets, can it?
26CornerBlitz Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 It can't sit well with the vets, can it? No way it can. McDermott and Beane can try to sell the we're trying to win this year story, but it rings hollow in light of the deals on Friday.
Figster Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 It can't sit well with the vets, can it? No, not in my humble opinion.

It also leaves the whole locker room wondering who's next. It can't sit well with the vets, can it? No doubt. Imagine how hard it already must be for players to pu the thought of "getting traded" or getting cut - out of their minds. Then you have it happen to one of the most talented guys on the team that everyone likes - All of a sudden the players start thinking - hey that could be me today or tomorrow - and they start thinking - Does this coach/GM even really want to win this year or not? Doesn't exactly help players to keep a positive attitude about their job and/or their season. Edited August 14, 2017 by PolishDave

I think it depends on if the locker room cancer claim is true or not. The players on this team last year know first hand how they played better as a team without Sammy, too. But maybe Sammy was well-liked and the offense was gelling and all of a sudden that got blown up and they are frustrated.
