You can't accept the fact that armed militias marching down the street under a Nazi flag is different from a guy sitting on his couch who's ideas I disagree with....

Keep covering for your buddies, who advocate and commit murders, then run behind the first Amendment. -Chickes#!t cowards.

You're not understanding. As abominable as white supremacists are, they still need free speech protections. Because the government isn't always going to make the right choice. Trump is in power, why would he not use a precedent against white supremacists as a way to ban BLM speech for example? The same way you want to ban neo-Nazi speech, many people want to ban BLM speech. I'm not trying to equate the two but as a society we've decided the best way to handle conflicts like that is to have a total "anything goes" attitude. Any political idea can be discussed as long as you are not inciting violence. If you consider white supremacists gathering for their cause as inherent violence and banned it as such, to be totally fair you'd then have to ban for example rap music that glorifies gang violence. Don't you think police officers hate that kind of music? Don't they have just as good a claim to ban violent rap music as you have to ban non-violent white supremacist rallies? That's the cost of living in society, you coexist with people with wildly different values and they have the same rights as you.

TRUE.... Unfortunately that doesn't make them any less DEADLY.

Portraying them as ant-social, outcast, kids hanging out out behind the 7-11 is dishonest to what this ARMED MENACE is capable of. -Not to mention what they've done in recent history.

The liberal media is far more deadlier than any white supremacists. But they're on your side so that makes it ok. Go back to your mom's basement you !@#$en loser.

Well said Happy Days. I'm not against open carry as long as they are mentally stable.

But open carry for assault rifles, I have reservations if confrontations get heated.

The Charlottesville rally was an affirmation of the 2nd amendment and specifically a broad reading of the 2nd amendment. The most fringe members of society marched with assault rifles and a group of antagonists showed up looking to pick a fight. Yet there was no gunfire and the only person killed was from a car driven by a single loon. If those people ever tried to seriously rebel against the government they'd get taken down by the military in no time at all. Choosing to march with assault rifles and camo gear isn't a showing of strength, it's a showing of weakness. Edited by HappyDays

Careful, 34 may be along any minute to call you a racist.

Adams gets it.

Yeh he does, that being said the hysteria bubble stems from the fact that no one is listening to each other, not looking for reasonable solutions and just looking for a fight. Happens when there is a leadership vacuum and the current President is a self indulgent psycho who gets offended a the meer appearance of a perceived slight. Trump needs to grow a pair and settle down. And once the dust settles maybe some actual compromise can happen. Ain't gonna happen right now... hence the hysteria bubble...

The hysteria bubble stems from the crushing ego blow the election delivered to the supremely arrogant left who had already wheeled the champagne into the locker room to loudly celebrate Trump's humiliation.

Let's give it up for Boston who matched the 100 or so white supremacists and the small antifa group with 20,000 or so peaceful protesters. Police are doing a great job in preserving the peace as well. This is how you combat these fringe groups.

Now... We are all suffering a bigger humiliation. Funny how that works.

Rats are scurrying off the sinking ship...

Who's paying all that Saturday OT?

Why?

Boston is probably more racist than Davidson County, NC. Even Winston-Salem one county over. And you know EVERYTHING IS "aginst th' law" in Winston-Salem.

"All colors of hands gonna work together

All colors of eyes gonna laugh and shine

All colors of feet gonna dance together

When I bring my CIO to Caroline, Caroline"

That's a shout out to You Boyst! ;-)

What have they done in recent history? I've been actually wondering this.

Well wonder no more...

Sept. 26–Oct. 3, 2011. Avowed white supremacists David Joseph Pedersen and Holly Ann Grigsby kill Pedersen's father and stepmother in Washington, a man they believe is Jewish in Oregon, and a black man in California.*

Aug. 5, 2012. A white supremacist named Wade Michael Page kills six people at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Aug. 16, 2012. "Sovereign citizen"-movement adherents Brian Smith and Kyle Joekel, who are now awaiting trial, allegedly kill two Louisiana sheriff's deputies in a trailer-park ambush.

June 8, 2014. Jerad and Amanda Miller kill two police officers in a random attack at a pizza restaurant in Las Vegas, then kill a customer at a Walmart. The Millers had spent time on Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy's property during protests related to Bundy's dispute with the federal government.

Sept. 12, 2014. Eric Frein allegedly shoots and kills a Pennsylvania state trooper; he's caught 48 days later after hiding from authorities in "survivalist" fashion in a rural area.

June 17, 2015. Dylann Roof murders nine people at a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina.

July 24, 2015. John Russell Houser, a 59-year-old man with a history of expressing extremist and anti-feminist beliefs, kills two women at a screening of the Amy Schumer comedy Trainwreck in Lafayette, Louisiana.

March 20, 2017. A 28-year-old white supremacist named James Harris Jackson stabs a 66-year-old black stranger to death in midtown Manhattan.

May 26, 2017. Two men are stabbed to death on a light-rail train in Portland, Oregon by a "known local white supremacist" named Jeremy Joseph Christian.

Aug. 12, 2017. A white supremacist named James Fields Jr. attending the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, allegedly runs over and kills an anti-racism protester.

There are MANY more examples... Some events indirectly caused deaths (chasing, etc.) others only resulted in horrible disfigurements, as opposed to actual death.

The fact is, since 2002, far-right extremists have attacked, and killed MORE people in the U.S. than Islamic Jihadists...

Facts have zero effect on white-supremacist ideology.
