Pbomb Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I heard he said he wants to come back here next year....
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 say your goodbyes son, he ain't coming back here.
Rc2catch Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 No way he would ever come back. It's not like this is the only team that would offer a contract. If he ever even hit free agency which he won't, I'm sure he would not want to be back here. The only way he'd ever come back is if nobody else offered a contract. In that instance why would you want him it would mean he's done
apuszczalowski Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Â @RamsNFL Reunited and it feels so good @sammywatkins in the house and reunited with @robertwoods! #DALvsLA Â https://twitter.com/i/videos/tweet/896502439167250433 Â Worked so great for Buffalo the last few years............ Â Rams fan(s) should be jumping for joy that they managed to steal away the dynamic (former) Bills WR duo.................
ganesh Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 ....six picks in the first 3 rounds yields talent.......period,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I hope they don't give away those six picks to get one player!
H2o Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Even if he somehow made it to FA do you honestly believe he would come back here?
pablopbb Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Even if he somehow made it to FA do you honestly believe he would come back here? Why wouldn't he want to come here, if he gets a market competitive offer after this year?
26CornerBlitz Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I highly doubt he gets to free agency. The Rams will either tag or extend him. Â Why wouldn't he want to come here, if he gets a market competitive offer after this year?
H2o Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Why wouldn't he want to come here, if he gets a market competitive offer after this year? Because he was underappreciated and undervalued here to the point they didn't pick up his 5th year option, nor keep him for the final year of his rookie deal for that matter. They sent him packing for a 2nd and a number 3 or 4 CB. They would have to drastically overpay to get him to come back and even then I don't believe the relationship could be repaired to the point he would return. Only if he really loved Buffalo that much, but I highly doubt it.
SoTier Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Why would Sammy come back to Buffalo when he could be a Patriot? That's the silver lining for me if he signs in LA. Â My thought exactly. If Watkins came back to the Northeast, it would be as a Patriot.
teef Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 there's no way the rams don't re-sign him. why even bother with the trade if that's not in your plans. they may have to take a chance and throw some cash at him, but i'd be shocked if there's not a deal in place fairly soon.
Doc Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Depends on how much they're willing to pay him. He'll probably want to be paid more than he's (currently) worth.
nucci Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Why wouldn't he want to come here, if he gets a market competitive offer after this year? Guessing after playing a season in Southern California weather, he won't want to come back
Captain Murica Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 Not happening. I think it is time for us as a community to move on. Â Â
Royale with Cheese Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I think there's a good chance he comes back. I texted him the other day and he said he prefers Lake Erie over the Pacific Ocean.
