Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 It's not about Sammy bringing a SB n u would THINK the question i asked would be an easy one to answer like u said. But most of the posters on here wanna see the Bills tank the season and wanna take their vacation days and use them for the draft. Because most educated fans know this team is nowhere near a SB and won't be till they get a real QB
leonbus23 Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 LOL. Yeah I agree on the first one too. I'll be serious for a moment. McD is first time HC after waiting for how long? He's going to put the best product out there that he can. No question. This defensive personnel suits his schemes and it was NO BRAINER for him to grab this opportunity. As a defensive HC, a running game and ball-safe running QB like TT are what the doc orders to compliment his defense. Bills were essentially an 8-8 team last year. What we have is an improvement over on the defensive side so theoretically it's still enough for an 8-8 season if not slightly better. But what we don't have is a potential game breaker who can steal another game or two for us. So that leaves us just short of playoffs. Serious.
Jasovon Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 If anyone thinks that Sammy and Darby are worth more than maybe 0.5 wins this year they are idiots. Out team for 2017 is basically the same, our team for 2018 onwards is much better,
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Just do what I've done for 3 years, only watch the defense play then change the channel to a different game when the offense takes the field.
JM2009 Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Just do what I've done for 3 years, only watch the defense play then change the channel to a different game when the offense takes the field. The offense was top ten in scoring in 2016. You like the defense? Wow.

26TrapDraw Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 What a contrived and pathetic thread. I'm generally not the sort of person that is in favor of shutting down threads, but if I did have to choose one from today, this would be the one. +1
Beast Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I was told these boards were a cut above BBMB. Nah. Same stuff here as well.
B-Large Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I go to the bar and watch the games for the food and fellow Bills fans.... I assume the Bills are going to get fisted by the Patriots and probably **** away 1-2 games that they should win that would position them for a WC. But I'll always be proud to be from, and to wear the gear. But for the excitement of the NFL season I watch/ follow the Broncos- it's reminds me of how Buffalo was in the 90's, when you expected to play in January, and heads rolled if you didn't. Denver tends to always be I the hunt or not down very long, it's nice to follow a team that plays meaningful games late in the season, reason to stop what I'm doing on Sundays and tune in.
RaoulDuke79 Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I was told these boards were a cut above BBMB. Nah. Same stuff here as well. Yep....business really picked up when actual football stuff started happening.

I have no problem with this. Buffalo has taken 17 years of our time, 22 if you count the time they won a Playoff game, so it's smart to actually follow a team that has won something. The Bills have sapped any enjoyment of NFL football for a healthy percentage of fans because of the morbid nature of the team.
Augie Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I'm asking all the legit posters here to avoid threads like this. Don't let clowns run the show on anything. The thread title says enough....

We reward poor performance with access to the best entry athletes the following year, and we as fans fiercly defend allegiance to a team that has not earned it on merit in what constitutes 1/5 of the average male human life span. All the same, I'll be there opening day, thinking it will be different, this will be the year... lol, god we're all stupid.
CanadianFan Posted August 13, 2017 Author Posted August 13, 2017 Mets and Bills, you get used to it lol I might pick up fantasy football. never played it. do you? I'm kind of excited about the Bucs. Yea you got something there. Young and rising players in almost every roster spot. D held up better than I thought given little investment in it. That's a team that's getting things right finally.
#34fan Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Sorry... Gotta watch my team no matta what! -I'll watch other games too, but GO BILLS! -Tank, or no-tank.
EasternOHBillsFan Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Giants? Younger Manning's window is closing and they've made moves to help him out in his last few years. Philly? A good young QB, brought in a bunch of WRs and shipped out butterfingers to address drops while shoring up their backend in D. Steelers? I got a sense big ben will be hanging it up shortly. They got a dynamic O and stout D. Can they pull a good year together? Raiders with Marshawn? I got insomnia so I could stay up and watch them. Dallas has Dak and drama. I guess I'll be watching a lot of NFC East. How about you? Watching you eat your damn words. Go watch the Argonauts.
row_33 Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 It's only 16 games to watch, plus the 2 or 3 other NFL games worth watching as a football fan each week.
