Lol. Not even close to the same.

well, if Ragland gets cut, which is very possible, how would it be different?

And he was supposed to be the best kicker in a long time.

Like Gary Anderson?

Gary Anderson was before my time but didn't he kick bad here on purpose bc he wanted out? Lol Any way, he had a good career elsewhere.

And to think the Billls traded up to take Ragland in the 2d.

What does one have to do with the other?

Both are examples of irrational fans

- fans in Florida got their hopes up and were irrational putting pressure on kicker including tweets and emails to player

- here mannc acts irrational trying to put pressure on player (but not as successful)

I'm with you though, kickers are funny and sometimes a change of scenery helps them.

Not likely a Florida kicker is going to do better in Buffalo pressure cooker.

If you can kick the ball in college what is it that stops you from doing it in the pros. I must be missing some fine points of the pro kicking game.

I think a lot had to do with the pressure put on him, kicking is all about your mindset

Yes and in general the special teams he will be facing will be much better.

yep. I've heard of him!

kickers never do well the first time.

Janikowski was not a bad kicker year one (his line was terrible) and got better. Other first year kickers have also had success.

.....hindsight is a beautiful thing....not like he had lousy collegiate credentials.....the world was laughing when Al Davis took Janokowski in the 1st.....think that's turned out ok (cough).....

..........Aguaya played college football at Florida State University, where he was the most accurate kicker in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) history and third in NCAA history.[1] He was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft...........

It is Janikowski.

He was waived for a reason. We just got rid of a guy who couldn't kick PATs and we don't kneed someone who is worse.

Because trading up to take a kicker in the second is almost unheard of. Ragland was at least a top prospect at a position that often gets taken in the second round.

Buffalo pressure cooker??

Yes between the press and instant mobs where some players have been harassed at home and on web.

Did the Bucs trade two fourth-round picks to move up? Anyway, it makes no difference whether it's "unheard of" or not--a wasted pick is a wasted pick, and having traded up for said wasted pick just compounds the error.
