RoyBatty is alive Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 It could be a tank, too many variables and lack of real information on what has been going on since the new regime has taken over. Next year with a 1 2 3 and 7rd round pick added the Bills could easily move up and get a real shot at if not the best QB candidate one of the top 2 or 3. Maybe with 2 #1s and the other new picks they could move to the top of the draft, that is of course if we aren't naturally at the top of the draft, a mighty battle between the Bills, Browns and Jets.
xRUSHx Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 We all do, but nothing is a certain. The only thing certain in my opinion is their is a solid chance the Bills could end up with a franchise worthy QB that the Bills drafted as oppose to the other teams backup montage this team has been stuck in over the last million seasons of losing since Kelly.Trubisky looked great last night....Fingers crossed the Bills get their guy in 2018 and a new winning dynasty starts.
row_33 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 WHAT passing game? Tyrod's still under center. You have a primary receiver. You only have eyes for him. If he isn't wide open for a fully second, then you run for your life.
Overdue Bill Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 It's not a tank. They weren't going to be better than 7-9 this year before today. Now maybe they'll be 5-11 but with way more draft capital to install a better foundation next year. It's vision and a clear plan, as opposed to the desperate scrambling we'd been accustomed to seeing. My thoughts exactly!
Seasons1992 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 They must have thought Sammy would have to be tagged after this season then FA walk. He proved his value yesterday so he was tradeable . I immediately said to anyone who would listen that "NO WONDER Sammy got so targeted early in the game."
PastaJoe Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Only a tank if McCoy, Dareus and TT are traded. They can't go all in, they still want to put butts in the seats by appearing to compete.
Maury Ballstein Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Only a tank if McCoy, Dareus and TT are traded. Keep telling yourself that. The dumpster fire is raging.
xRUSHx Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) Only a tank if McCoy, Dareus and TT are traded.I would be even more excited about this new staff if this happen. Load up for 2018 draft baby.Trade em all Edited August 11, 2017 by xRUSHx
Nitro Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 No tank. Matthews is not bad and stays healthy which Sammy could not do. Loading up on draft picks for next year. This GM and coach are serious about building a winner. No slow 5 year plan.
JM2009 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Keep telling yourself that. The dumpster fire is raging. McCoy, Dareus, were/are the teams best players. Getting Boldin and Matthews is a clue that they want the picks, but want to try and win also.
BuffaloBaumer Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Just wait until the Bills pick 4th and get the 4th QB on the list.
Wsam4031 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Jordan Matthews is a good and young WR. You don't tank and then trade for someone like that. Matthews is not a good receiver. Has stone hands. Hes a free agent after this year also. So is Gaines, so we may not even keep them next year. Philly is laughing at us right now for taking Matthews. They've been trying to get someone to take him since april. They get a #1 corner and only need to give up a 3rd rd pick and a guy who was prob going to be cut

By comparison, the man who will probably replace him in the starting lineup – Matthews, who was the Eagles’ second-round pick in 2014 – has missed only two games in his career and has 225 catches for 2,673 yards and 19 TDs." CommonCents Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Left work an hour early and I'm tanking in honor of OBD. Two big steaks for the grill some tequila for the shot glass and corona to wash it down. When is draft night?
