quinnearlysghost88 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 And when the jets get the first overall next year, this will look even stupider.
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) Prima Donna personality probably didn't want to be here. Don't believe everything you read. Edited August 11, 2017 by DriveFor1Outta5
row_33 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I SERIOUSLY wonder if there is any medial rationale behind this? Either that or Bean's future plans didn't include paying a WR that hasn't been 100 a billion dollars... It's a plausible argument. he'll be great in Hollywood Matthews is a solid possession receiver, that's probably what they want now.
row_33 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Sherman tank. Appropriate metaphor. Looks good, but reliably bursts into flames. Certainly not a Panzer IV.
thebandit27 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Bills will sign him back next year. Now that would really be something.
Juice_32 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Ragland probably feeling a little uncomfortable right about now.
DisplacedBillsFan Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 If I wasn't such a fan, I would be shutting WGR off right now. Murphy and Chris Brown are seriously pissing me off right now trying to spin this..... Call it what it is.... a huge step backward this season. To me, the only things that will make these trades worth it is if they finish the job..... Trade Shady, trade Tyrod if possible, etc.... If you're going to take the top players off this team, don't stop here. Go all the way with is and do everything you can to lose the entire season. I hate saying this, but if you're going to tank.....then REALLY TANK. It may look bad now, but these moves make us a better franchise. We finally have a GM and coach who can see the big picture.
row_33 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Now that would really be something. It's not the Yankees.
Augie Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 And when the jets get the first overall next year, this will look even stupider. I'm hoping they take the Ryan Leaf and we get the Peyton Manning.
BillsFan17 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 And when the jets get the first overall next year, this will look even stupider.Best QBS only go first overall?
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Ragland probably feeling a little uncomfortable right about now.

hondo in seattle Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I thought this was going to be another boring day in Bills land. And then a thermonuclear devices exploded. And then a second one. Trying to understand what's happening.
r00tabaga Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Rams get kinda hosed. They lose their top CB & a 2nd rd pick for a 1 yr rental player. Philadelphia trade a wash.
Harryhood280 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Once the shock wears off people will warm up to this. The Darby trade was really good. I don't see this trade making us any worse this year and we added two premium picks. I'm assuming they didn't trust that Sammy was healthy and didn't think they'd be able to resign if he is good this year. Trade him now while his value is high.
BigBuff423 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I'm not saying I told you so, but....I called it months ago. He's not McDermott's type of player, and doesn't fit Beane's philosophy.

I'm dying to hear how this makes the team better It's not the Yankees. I merely responded to another person's post; I didn't say I expected it to happen

Yes, as opposed to keeping fans happy. We've been keeping fans happy during the offseason for the last 17 years. Only to disappoint when the season begins.
