row_33 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 with the Jets and FIsh injuries they figure that's an easy 4-0 for the Bills no matter whoze out there Bills have brought in WRs, Sammy hit by the numbers game. maybe the new regime had zero patience for Sammy?
YoloinOhio Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Has anyone heard from Kirby or bandit? I'm worried
Watkins101 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Next on the chopping block: Dareus, Kyle, Tyrod, Lesean. We are going to field a team of rookies next year. Keeping the Oline in tact though.
nucci Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I look at it like this.... Sammy Watkins for Jordan Matthews and 2nd Rd pick Ronald Darby for EJ Gaines and 3rd round pick. Potentially Bills could have two 1st, two 2nds and three 3rds I actually like the trades.... I didn't trust Sammys foot and don't think Darby fit the zone scheme. and 4 wins the next 3 years.....Dareus, McCoy. K.Williams and Hughes will be gone in the next 2-3 years
BillsFan17 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 The Darby trade I can live with. Especially if we retain Matthews beyond this year. The watkins trade is absolutely awful
BillsFan692 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Two First rounders Two Second Rounders Two Third Rounders Going into next years draft... Can you say hell yes? We traded an undersized CB and an injury prone WR. I'm not really going to lose any sleep tonight.
The Wiz Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Anyone miss Whaley yet ? funny you mention him considering how shocking these moves came and no one knew about it beforehand. Leak was coming from his area.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Redskins would give a load for McCoy. They have no running game, as evidenced last night, and will lose Cousins next season. There future is NOW.
teef Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Can we try and infer what this says about how OBD feels about Tyrod? That many draft picks one could assume we are prepping for something big next draft. Or am I reading too much into this? i don't know how to see it any other way. if they don't make a move for a qb in the draft, i'll be pretty amazed.
Marty McFly Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Seriously. If the plan at OBD was tanking YTF would we re-sign Tyrod? that was stupid as ****. We shoulda just rolled with Peterman and embraced the tank. Now were tanking for 5-11 when we coulda went 3-13. im pissed Like Tyrod and Sammy were just trying to develop chemistry... this makes almost zero sense. TANK MODE
leh-nerd skin-erd Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Yeah, it's like the Patriots shipping off Chandler Jones last year. Not keeping him, might as well get a 2nd for him. The trade is pretty fair and we replace the WR lost with the one gained in Matthews and we still have two starting caliber CBs. the patriots have a track record of sustained success the likes of which is rarely seen in sports. the bills have a track record of getting their tongue stuck to the same light post year after year after year.
Heitz Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Justis Mosqueda @JuMosq 28m28 minutes ago The Los Angeles Rams spent $76 million on Tavon Austin and Robert Woods to trade a second-rounder for Sammy Watkins on a one-year deal. When you put it that way, it seems dumb on their part. Guess this saves all of us all the hand wringing over having to resign Sammy next year...

ExWNYer Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Who wins the Sam Darnold sweepstakes !!!! Maybe nobody. There has been talk that he may not even declare and just stay in school, much like Luck did.
