YoloinOhio Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Man people thought whaley was bad One of those people is obviously Brandon Beane. 1
4_kidd_4 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 THIS. What a shady freakin move Customer service doesn't seem to be the strongest suit of the Pegulas.
Last Guy on the Bench Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I have NEVER felt like giving up on this team. But this is just horrendous. One of the few guys on the team with legit star potential. Even with the injuries has put up some pretty impressive numbers. Looks healthy. Is still super young. They must have seen something they didn't like in practice (attitude, intelligence? I don't know.), but still no excuse. Watkins is the kind of guy you shape your offense around. Build around his strengths. And I can't buy the tank argument. This team has too much talent to fall off the deep end. The defensive line, running game, Taylor's playmaking ability - all will keep them in lots of games. Plus there are a number of crappy teams around the league. You can't really choose to tank in the NFL. At least not for the number 1 pick. Certainly not with the Bills roster. I think Darnold has a shot to be an all-timer, but if you think you can manipulate a season enough to guarantee you get that #1 pick in a year where it's really worth something, you're a fool. Your players certainly aren't going to tank for you. So I think they've just decided they don't love Watkins and would rather have draft picks to build the team their own way. I also think they are complete tools. My interest in this season just went down 1,000 percent. And I'm pissed I just laid out the $200 for GamePass (international), which I've always previously considered a great deal.
Bangarang Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I don't mind stacking draft picks either. This is entertaining either way. Can we try and infer what this says about how OBD feels about Tyrod? That many draft picks one could assume we are prepping for something big next draft. Or am I reading too much into this?
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 But he has great character. thats most important.

DallasMac Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I like Matthews. I just don't get it. If we keep McCoy and TT we are still going to be a 5-6 win team. Feel bad for Kyle.
goldenboy81 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 One of those people is obviously Brandon Beane. Worst 2 trades i ever seen from 1 team
CEN-CAL17 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) I look at it like this.... Sammy Watkins for Jordan Matthews and 2nd Rd pick Ronald Darby for EJ Gaines and 3rd round pick. Potentially Bills could have two 1st, two 2nds and three 3rds I actually like the trades.... I didn't trust Sammys foot and don't think Darby fit the zone scheme. Edited August 11, 2017 by 1WATKINS4
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I pretty much hate every single thing this team does, 365 days a year

DC Tom Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Trade Tyrod to Denver, start TJ and we will be worse than the Jets. You are drastically overestimating the Jets capacity for suckage this year. Their offense could rival the '77 Bucs.
Big C Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Yes. He sucks. Played well in 2014, injured 2015, played poorly last season.
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 The Bills acquired a ton of a character! That's most important in the NFL!
Royale with Cheese Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Yes. He sucks. He made the All Rookie team his rookie year.
DirtDart Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 They knew this was going to happen, so they brought in a good vet to fill some of the void this year. Writing was on the wall when they didn't pick up his option.
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 One of those people is obviously Brandon Beane. never trade 2 firsts for a non-QB
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Giving up multiple picks including an extra first rounder for a p layer then getting 50 cents back on the dollar is cause for concern
smuvtalker Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Unbelievably bad move. I second that... I'm utterly speechless right now...
