Doc Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Not sure if anyone caught it (I didn't because I didn't see the game but saw the stat line), but Rehkow kicked the EP after the TD. He made it. Are they possibly looking to keep him as an EPS?
Mountain Man Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 They want to keep Rehkow, it's obvious. They just want to find a good excuse
Bangarang Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I believe our TD came when Hauschka was done for the night
MAJBobby Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Schmidt didnt last night and hasnt all offseason shown anything special to keep him over the versatility of Rehkow
C.Biscuit97 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 This would be such a Bills move. But it was just because SH was done for the night.
MAJBobby Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 However i would love to have 1 guy that can do all kicking duties effectively gives an extra roster spot

ricojes Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) This would be such a Bills move. But it was just because SH was done for the night. Someone tweeted Howard Simon this morning....Since Peterman is the future at QB, we can now use our 2 first round picks next year on a kicker and punter... Now that's a Bills move... eball Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 The only way Rehkow makes the team is an injury or if he beats out Schmidt. Right. He's not taking Hauschka's job. Unfortunately for Rehkow, Schmidt seems to be taking the competition seriously. He was booming 'em.
row_33 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Short kickoffs long kickoffs punter extra point man that sounds like 4 good roster spots to fill (don't laugh so quickly...) your kicker has to take one of the two types of kickoffs...
MAJBobby Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 If it is close I think McDermott picks Rehkow because of the position versatility
Drunken Pygmy Goat Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Schmidt didnt last night and hasnt all offseason shown anything special to keep him over the versatility of Rehkow Schmidt looked pretty good to me. Maybe it was just a "down" year in 2016.
