CodeMonkey Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 He played against guys who will be washing cars in a couple weeks. And with guys who will be washing cars in a couple weeks.
87168 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 And with guys who will be washing cars in a couple weeks. exactly.
Magox Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I see that Peterman from the perspective of fans is the new polarizing figure on the team.
bisonbrigade Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Petermen showed good arm strength, pocket awareness and mobility. I think he is a keeper. Has a BIG upside. Next week I would sit Tyrod, Play Yates for a Half and Petermen for a Half.
Fan in Chicago Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 I see that Peterman from the perspective of fans is the new polarizing figure on the team. Only to the Yates fans. I don't see anyone arguing that Peterman should be starting.
Bangarang Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) Let's temper expectations a bit. He showed some decent things yesterday but his ball placement was off at times. His arm strength is still a question mark no matter what Steve Tasker says. I like his moxxy and I look forward to watching him play and develop. Still, he's no where close to being a viable NFL starter yet. Edited August 11, 2017 by Bangarang
Roundybout Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 The man had the best throw of the night on his PA Boot where he threaded the ball perfectly for a first down. He also had some poor throws that almost got picked off. I like this guy a lot and look forward to seeing him develop more.

Best of throw of that night was like winning hottest body with Sumo wrestlers. That was terrible qb play all night by both teams. But of course, Peterman should play with the 2s. At worse, he will be TJ Yates.
Tenhigh Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Only to the Yates fans. I don't see anyone arguing that Peterman should be starting. There are Yates fans now?
billsfan60 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Kid deserves to be with the two's and not the three's at this point. If either of his last two drives had been with non scrubs around him they would have tied the game. If they can keep Taylor healthy till midseason Peterman will be ready.
YoloinOhio Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Agree 100%. Cut Yates, move NP to the 2s, & get another qb.i think that is what will happen. There will be some projects available at final cuts.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Petermen showed good arm strength, pocket awareness and mobility. I think he is a keeper. Has a BIG upside. Next week I would sit Tyrod, Play Yates for a Half and Petermen for a Half. Next week will see similar work from the 1's or more. They need the reps. This is a timing based offense.
zow2 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Peterman is what i hoped he would be, a gamer. In other words, he's ok in practice, nothing special...but in games he shows great awareness and just makes plays. Let's hope this continues and the Bills finally hit on QB that can be the future. Keep playing good ball in preseason and he will be the #2 this year.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) By the way, Peterman did not throw one pass out of 25 that either proves or disproves or sheds any light whatsoever on his arm strength issue. You cannot tell if an NFL QB has adequate arm strength on a 15 yard pass. He looked like he had the rag arm as advertised if only because he didn't throw downfield. I don't expect him to though. It's not his game. Showed a bunch of nice things. Did not show any arm strength. Let's hope he can be one of relatively few that can build it up over a few years. CountryCletus Posted August 11, 2017 Author Posted August 11, 2017 Cletus is my 9th favorite 9th favorite what?
Beast Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 So, people will be good throwing Peterman out there long term if Taylor goes down? Sounds good for the kids development.
billykaykay Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 There was absolutely nothing vanilla out of the Vikes D tonight. U couldn't be more wrong. Yep. On the last drive, Minny rushed 6 on one down.
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 You're not joking. They brought a bunch of different blitzes.and coverages. I heard some stat last night that Minny was something like 17-1 in preseason games. They prioritize winning over putting players in certain positions. Whatever floats your boat I suppose. W/L in preseason don't mean much to me.
