Just Jack Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I was in the ER recently for kidney stone pain. One of the drugs I was prescribed was Oxycodone, even though I said I didn't want it. I filled the script but still haven't opened the bottle. I may just take it back to the pharmacy for disposal. I was curious if I could make some decent money selling them, found out there's a website for that.... http://streetrx.com/

Tiberius Posted September 8, 2017 Author Posted September 8, 2017 This is crazy! https://www.brookings.edu/bpea-articles/where-have-all-the-workers-gone-an-inquiry-into-the-decline-of-the-u-s-labor-force-participation-rate/ The increase in opioid prescriptions from 1999 to 2015 could account for about 20 percent of the observed decline in men’s labor force participation (LFP) during that same period. The nightly business report reported the other day that 50% of males aged something like 30-50% are using pain medication. Wow

Tiberius Posted October 16, 2017 Author Posted October 16, 2017 http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/355648-dem-calls-for-trumps-drug-czar-pick-to-step-down Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is calling for the White House to withdraw the nomination of Rep. Tom Marino (R-Pa.) to serve as the nation’s drug czar, after a Washington Post-60 Minutes investigation suggested he led a bid to weaken enforcement of the nation's drug policing laws. In in-depth reports released Sunday, the news organizations detailed Marino’s involvement in helping pass legislation reportedly weakening the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) authority to halt drug distributors. This reportedly undermined the DEA’s effort to stop the flow of prescription painkillers, drugs that have contributed to rising overdose death rates.
