26CornerBlitz Posted August 11, 2017 Author Posted August 11, 2017 My feed has been so choppy and slow all night, I'm way behind. I only signed up for the free 7 days to watch this game, but if this is how this works...this is terrible. It's usually much better without so much lag.
Big C Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Agreed. He looked to be getting into the flow. Stumbled a little on that 3rd down run, but otherwise looked like he was doing OK.
Marty McFly Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Second string D making Heinicke look like Doug Flutie.
RaoulDuke79 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Ehhhh....it's only pre-season. That's what I've been telling myself for the last 17 years
Perk71 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Especially when they play it 10 times in a drive. My son just asked why their non-starters are so much better than our non-starters.....hes 10 Lol
CanadianFan Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Peterman looked decisive on those two throws. I like that. don't sit back and pet the ball.
Jamie Muellers Ghost Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 TJ Yates statline 6-11 48 yds 2 sacks
Big Gun Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) He did. He definitely improved from his 1st drive out there. I think the knee is still slowing him down and his mind has to get back in football shape. gotta get his instincts sharpened. He will NOT be cut. No matter what anyone on here says Right and he hasn't played in a game in over a year and a half, he's got to be rusty. Edited August 11, 2017 by old school
YoloinOhio Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 (edited) Cut Yates. Peterman is #2Sal was saying that is a real possibility earlier this week. If Peterman beats him out, Yates is gone. They won't keep as as 3rd QB. Edited August 11, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Marty McFly Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Right and he hasn't played in a game in over a year and a half. He's also got to be rusty. This is true. He has a long way to go but we shouldnt give up on him, too much potential too much upside there.
BillsFan4 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 He did. He definitely improved from his 1st drive out there. I think the knee is still slowing him down and his mind has to get back in football shape. gotta get his instincts sharpened. He will NOT be cut. No matter what anyone on here says It almost looked like his knee kind of gave out on him on that one play. Unless it was just 100% a slip. But yeah I agree. He hasn't played football in an an entire year, and now he's playing in a totally new defense to him. I don't think he's ever played in a 4-3 like this before. He definitely needs time. It'd be silly to cut him. It's not like he's making a lot of money, or we have great LB depth.
Marty McFly Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Sal was saying that is a real possibility earlier this week. If Peterman beats him out, Yates is gone. They won't keep as as 3rd QB. I could see that. Yates was trash 2nite
Big Gun Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 This is true. He has a long way to go but we shouldnt give up on him, too much potential too much upside there. no way should the give up on him, I think he will be fine, it's just going to take some time.
BillsFan4 Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Mcdermottt not looking happy with all the penalty calls... It's not going to be fixed overnight though. Especially with the Bills penalty issues in recent years.
Just in Atlanta Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Forced to watch the Minnesota broadcast on Gamepass. They literally know nothing about the Bills.
